1) Do you prefer the video games or the anime?: The games, but only the first one really, the sequels suck.
2) Who is your favourite character (game and anime)? Marumaro! Marumaro is my favourite character because he makes me laugh, but the guy has the heart of a hero fr. He went out of his way to help the trio even after they saved his village like he could've stayed with his family and left them to deal with Nene alone but no, he went with them and he stayed all the way until the very end and even formed a brotherly bond with shu! Maro is also funny at times whether that be what he says or does such as his devee dances or his gluttony, he is a comic relief character, but he is a legit hero who will stick by your side no matter how tough things get. And as for the whole Zola thing, I think he just aspires to be like her, cool and respected, and devees do worship a bat-like creature and well... Zola's shadow is a bat so it makes sense he'd call her "lady Zola", he respects her imo. And no matter what people say, NO I don't think his voice is annoying at all.
3) Which game is your favourite? (If you like the games). The first game, the xbox 360 original ✊️😎🔥.
4) Which anime season do you prefer? (If you like the anime). Season 2 feels more complex overall compared to season 1. Season 2 feels more consistent with its quality. Season 1 doesn't really get good until the Extra Seven arc which is about 20 or so episodes in. I feel like Season 2 gets good within the first few episodes tbh, it's good.
5) Do you have any headcanons? I have way to many to put on this, I'll just post them all in my blue dragon headcanon posts 😂.
6) Favourite location from the games? Jibral castle 🏰 .
7) Favourite location from the anime? None I'm ngl.
8) Sub or dub voices? (For both the games and the anime). I just like the English dub, that's it.
9) Favourite Shadow in the franchise? Saber-tiger or Chimera.
10) Favourite antagonist? Nene, the best antagonist of course. Now Nene is just the perfect villain, he isn't relatable, he isn't tragic, he is Irredeemable. He wants to rule the world,his world as he remembers it. He believes he is the one true king and the world doesn't deserve to live without magic. Nene wants to rule the world yeah, but he thinks he's "restoring" the world to it's former glory, Nene Hates the world because he believes so based on the discriminating view that without magic they don't deserve to live. Nene also feels lonely due to how he is the only ancient left and wants everyone to suffer just because he suffers having his rapid ageing disease alone. Nene doesn't want or need friends or personal items, he just wants the world "restored" to it's former glory so he can rule over those pitiful masses who can't use magic anymore. He doesn't care anything else, he doesn't have any connection to anything, it's just him against the world and personal belongings really don't matter as he just has no need for them. All he wants is power, people and items are stuff for him to break or own (he does say they will serve him as slaves). The only thing he wants is power and dominance over a race that lived peacefully without magic,and after such great advancements the ancients( his race) made, he couldn't bear to see this new "weak" and "pathetic" world. He needed to remind everyone who is king and that power controls all, so yeah, Nene 😂.
11) Favourite boss? Grand Szabo and the four demon kings. This is definitely my favourite boss battle in the entire game I'm ngl, it's just so cool fighting Szabo's mighty quartet all at once 😂. Turbulent Mai is my favourite demon king! 🤖⚔️🌪.
12) Favourite pairing/ship? Jiro and Kluke, Blue Dragon and Phoenix (yes, I ship Blue Dragon and Phoenix 😂)
13) Most relatable character to you? Definitely Shu, he is a loud and impulsive guy who never truly gives up on anything, he can be quite competitive at times to and is often rash, preferring to take action immediately. He's really based but he's very blunt to, like me 😭.
14) Favourite character exclusive to the games? Yasato! He's just so wholesome, bro helped Shu escape prison and chose to disobey Nene, what a chad.
15) Favourite character exclusive to the anime? Deucalion! Their sick design and attacks are an instant win for me 😂, they maybe an artificial shadow but their just as cool and powerful as the rewl shadows to me ✊️😭.
16) Favourite character quote (games)? Shu's "I won't give up!" Is just to iconic not to mention.
17) Favourite character quote (anime)? "We fight in the name of justice!" Is so cool, Saber is always ready to deal a crushing blow of justice!
18) Most hated character (any canon)? The easy going mural (yes really), because he's bland and calls Kluke "babe" 💀.
19) Saddest character death (in your opinion)? lieutenant Dragnov's death is pretty sad, he may have been Shu's enemy but he respected and fought him fair and square, just like the episode says "an honourable opponent".
20) Saddest moment (game or anime)? When Kluke talks to the Young Girl Waiting for her mother in Noluta Village 😭.
21) Do you have any OCs (sharing your oc is not a requirement)? I have a self insert that has a shark shadow (I plan and drawing it, when I do, I'll post it)
22) What year did you get into Blue Dragon? 2016 I think?
23) Favourite sidequest? The five evil dragons sidequest, if there's one thing I LOVE doing in video games, it's fighting difficult bosses, this sidequest was made for me! 😂.
24) Favourite happy moment (games or anime?) The ending of the first game is so sweet, after all the shit the characters go through both before and during the game's plot, it feels really rewarding that the game ends on such a positive note, we see the main three Shu, Jiro and kluke laughing together, no danger, no Nene no pain, just some friends enjoying life ☺️. Peak ending 🙌.
25) Favourite track (games or anime)? For the game it's Eternity, mecha-robo-corps-charge and state of emergency. And for the anime it's power rush and the anime's second outro, Kokoro. All such banger songs 🎶😎🔥.
