Amusement parks On Fire/Deja Vega and Coldharbourstories Like at Oslo Hackney, London 8th December

Where do I Begin on this one...

It was a bit quiet but It's picked up when amusement parks On Fire played there set.

Amusement parks On Fire - One of the First Band in the Nu-gaze (new generation of Shoegaze) era that I've got into into back in 2006 just when there Second Album Came out and it changed my Life forever, I saw the Band last year at the boarderline in London and they're brilliant to see live, This time it was at the Oslo Hackney and I really enjoyed there set, It was very Raw stuff like it's almost loud as a My Bloody Valentine, LoOp or A Dinosaur Jr Set but in a smaller venue than the Hammersmith Apollo and It's A band you must see Live if you haven't seen live yet!

Deja Vega - Coming From The North West of England Deja Vega certainly know how to combine psychedelia and Punk together into a new level of Noise Rock. I was Jumping up and down like a Loose Cannon mainly it was band's music that court my ear. They are Britain's Answers to Thee Oh Sees, raw and energetic!!!

Coldharbourstories - A band that I Saw Very Recently Blew my Mind with mixes of The Cocteau Twins, Slowdive and the electronica of M83 they impress me a lot. if you like Chromatics (the band who performed on twin peaks) you'll won't be disappointed! Dreamy and wonderful

Overall The Gig was Amazing at the Oslo and they're really there gig curfew

SIGNED COPY OF GOOD ALBUMS OF THIS YEAR!!!!

Today At Rough Trade East I Brought Two Good Album from Courtney Barrett and Our Girl. They Both Signed copies which was a bonus on there part. I always Love going into Rough Trade when i'm in London because there's so much that can't buy in your local HMV or even amazon like documents like teenage superstars (scottish indie scene) or the sarah records documentry.

sometimes you need to support thd indie music scene because indie is much better then ever.

Eyre Llew/Black Doldrums/Fever Dream At The Victoria, London Thursday 6th December

Last night at the Dalston Victoria, was a exciting shoegaze/psych event promoted by the outstanding Club AC30

Where do I begin???

Eyre Llew who headlined the night were outstanding to see live again since there first ever gig in Nottingham back in 2015 ,since them they have changed with there post rock sound with bit of Doom and slowcore added the mix was a definitely a Raw Set by the band, It was most probably a band that I would Love to Go and see Again.

London's Noise Rock Band Black Doldrums on the other hand were most definitely one of my highlight of the night for a two piece band they sure know how to make a good racket of psychedelia with a tiny raw energy of Punk Rock and a bit Shoegaze, I finally got to see the band and yes they're one of the best Live Acts in Rock n Roll, If you love band like The Black Angels and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club well you won't be disappointed.

As for Fever Dream, Britain's Answer to Swirlies with a swing of Dum Dum Girls, I haven't seen the band since a year ago since there released there second Album, I Thought to myself they're not just a typical indie pop nor a Shoegaze band they're somewhere inbetween. Seeing the band last night was definitely a Great night especially the band played unity was definitely my favourite Fever dream track. If they were a American band from Los Angeles or Boston they would signed to Sub Pop or Polyvinyl. Overall seeing the band they never seen to disappoint me.

The gig in general was a wonderful night of good noise

War Waves - All That we Lack (backwater records/ Integrity Publishing) Suffolk Indie rock band War Waves has made a unique success with the radio airplay from the BBC Introducing to the indie kingpin presenter Steve Lamaq of BBC 6 music. The Band have Made a Return with there second album All That We Lack on Backwater Records and this time with Integrity Publishing (a close associate of Integrity Records: Million Dead, Miss Black America, Reuben). This is where the band left off with there last album released back in May 2015 with more progression with the music range of Influences such as Big Star, Matthew Sweet, Weezer, The Smiths, The Replacements, R.E.M, The Cure, Fugazi, Cursive, Knapsack, Low, Teenage Fanclub, Pavement, Sunny Day Real Estate and Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) and also with more emotive towards the song writing structure of front man Marc Newby. Urusei Yatsura - You Are My Urusei Yatsura (rocket girl records)

Urusei Yatsura was one of the most original Glasgow indie rock (Lo-Fi noise pop) bands of the 90s. At a time when the British charts were invaded by the more facile Brit-pop sound, Urusei Yatsura had the courage to play indie music and find weird inspiration instead, following the tradition of modern American noise rockers, from Sebadoh and Sonic Youth, to Pavement and Galaxie 500, mixing those noise elements with their Glaswegian roots of Teenage Fanclub and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

This is the 20th anniversary release of the “We Are Urusei Yatsura” LP, the lo-fi recording for the Tokyo-inspired noise pop quartet, with the broken Woolworths guitars that make raw noisy feedback. The band has shared a stage with many acclaimed artists such as Super Furry Animals, Pavement, Ash, Teenage Fanclub, Prolapse, Bob Tilton, Ligament (part chimp), Mogwai, etc. They have also played at numerous festivals including Roskilde, Reading, and T in the Park Festival, and made appearances on the Chart Show's Indie Top 10. If you are a big fan of Teenage Fanclub, Galaxie 500 and Pavement, then Urusei Yatsura are definitely up your street.

Secret shine Interview by Matt Catling

Secret shine has a beautiful noisy Sound, the music is outstanding, How would you Describe your style and where do you get your inspiration from? Why thank you! We try and always think about the melody in addition to creating a big wall of sound. Great tunes are an inspiration whether they are played on an acoustic guitar or with a 12-piece band so in whatever we do, the melody always comes first. How did one of you meet the other member in the bands? Scott and Jamie met at college and after signing to Sarah records needed to put a band together pretty quickly for some live shows. Being Scott's younger brother I had a school band at the time so we borrowed various members of that band who went on to appear on our first album Untouched. The main core of the band, Scott, Jamie, me and Kathryn have been together for over 25 years. What’s the nicest thing that a critic or another band has said about the band? John Peel was fan - after our Loveblind single got heavily criticised in the NME, he made it single of the week on his show. He came to see a couple of our shows and called Jamie at home once. Performing for indietracks this year what can we expect from The Band? We’re really excited to be playing Indietracks this year and we’ve just played the NYC popfest so are actually well rehearsed for a change. It should be a nice tight punchy set with a few new songs thrown in from the forthcoming album and some old favourites. What are the bands influences for secret shine? And finally did the band felt they were a part of the shoegaze music scene of the early 90's or was the band something completely different. Each of the members has their own very different tastes (especially Kathryn ;-) ) but we came from a time when shoe gaze was emerging and there's no doubt that we took influence from some of our contemporaries like MBV, Slowdive, Mary Chain and many more. We like playing loud but our vocal sound is so gentle that we found ourselves nestling in that environment with ease and liking it there. I don't think you set out to be part of something but you can just end up there anyway. For us we've not really wanted to change that much in all the years we've been together.

Before The  Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.... A band from Sheffield was doing the same thing

Before the modern shoegaze bands like the pains of being pure heart and Ringo deathstarr merge the wall of noise known as shoegaze (My bloody valentine & RIDE) and the sweet jangle C86 indie pop (McCarthy and 14 iced bears, Alongside with Thousand Yard Stare and Secret Shine, the suncharms were possibly the first band to bridge those two indie genres into something different from the ethereal sound of shoegaze. The band formed early 1990's in Sheffield who had a success in the indie charts of the Early 90's shoegaze & dream pop period and they also have done a john peel session in 1992 but they disbanded in 1993 and went there separate ways as a band and Now the band have reformed and the band currently writing new material.

The suncharms have released there collective of there early work as a CD album (booked etc) on New York  label called cloudberry records, the album is really exciting to listen to, combining my bloody valentine , the pastels  and a small hints of 1960'S west coast psychedelic pop band like the byrds together into a nice noise pop sound of the suncharms. Like many band in the indie pop vibe I can easily get into because it's cute, sweet and noisy at the same time if john peel was still alive today he'll give the band a nice praise

if I picked one Favorite track of the band album  it'll be Reflections because it's a crispy jangle pop guitar with a  wall of noise blasting out there. SWEET INDIE NOISE POP
