UPDATE: Tesla Motors $TSLA: Broke 1st Major Fibonacci Retracement Support Cluster ~206; Next Fib Cluster ~174

In our ChOTD of Tesla Motors $TSLA on March 28, we highlighted the 1st major Fibonacci retracement cluster of support around 206-209. It held that area for a few weeks but it now definitively lower. The next Fibonacci support cluster is around 174, which marks a perfect confluence of the 38.2% retracement ot the post-2012 rally and the 61.8% retracement of its post-November rally.

Colorado thought they’d make $70M in weed tax revenue. They’re on track for $98M

From the start, marijuana sales have been very strong, and according to a budget proposal released Wednesday by Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, the first official estimate of tax revenue from marijuana sales of $98 million is far exceeding the initially estimated $70 million figure given to voters when they approved the legalization and taxation of pot last year. This $98 million number includes the sale of both recreational marijuana, which is taxed statewide at 12.9%, and medical marijuana, which only has a 2.9% tax.

Maryland Poised To Decriminalize Weed After Legislature OKs Bill

The Maryland legislature on Monday passed a bill that would decriminalize marijuana possession in small amounts, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Under the new bill, people caught with 10 grams of weed or less would only get a citation and have to pay a fine.

Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) on Monday said he would sign the bill, noting that he has changed his mind on marijuana use.

"As a young prosecutor, I once thought that decriminalizing the possession of marijuana might undermine the Public Will necessary to combat drug violence and improve public safety," he said in a statement. “I now think that decriminalizing possession of marijuana is an acknowledgement of the low priority that our courts, our prosecutors, our police, and the vast majority of citizens already attach to this transgression of public order and public health. Such an acknowledgment in law might even lead to a greater focus on far more serious threats to public safety and the lives of our citizens.”
