“That was the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in years.” Bill moaned, climbing up.
Dawn also got up moments after Bill did. “I agree...” She yawned and stretched, hearing her joints popping back to their original places.

"You two, return." Bill put the two Pokémon in their Poké Balls. "Night!"
"Goodnight..." Dawn yawned and fell asleep.

"Then let’s find somewhere." He left the place, and saw some trees. "I’m going to sleep up there!" He pointed to a big branch, climbed to it, then wrapped a belt around himself to make sure he didn’t fall off during his sleep.
"Okay. I'll sleep...here." She pointed to a large tree and leant against the trunk, getting comfortable on the floor.

"We have one room left, which has 5 beds, but it’s first class. It will be quite expensive if you want to stay in it." Nurse Joy sighed. Bill walked to the counter.
"How much?" He asked.
She shrugged her shoulders, “Like around £300 for a night.”
Bill almost spat out his tongue, and said, “Dawn, we can just camp outside for the night. We’re going to have to get used to it when we’re travelling anyway.”
Looking rather upset due to Bill mentioning camping outside and not able to sleep in a comfy bed, Dawn nodded to him. "Okay..."

"Just ask politely whether there are any rooms free for the night."
Nodding, Dawn walked to Nurse Joy and asked her if there were any free rooms for them.

"You can speak, I spoke last time." Bill laughed.
"What am I asking for?" She looked at him.

"They’re all gone now, best we try to get a room." Bill suggested.
"Okay...Let's do that," Dawn said and nodded, standing up.

"You guys finished?" Bill asked Rattata and Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur was still eating, but Rattata had chewed them all up already.
Squirtle had fallen asleep already and Dawn was finishing eating the rest of the biscuits.

"Calm down, let’s go to the Pokémon Center first. You’re sitting in the middle of the shop." Bill pulled her up. They headed to the Pokémon Center, and waited for the queue to go down. They sat at the tables.
"Rattata and Bulbasaur, come out and have a snack!" He let them come out on the table. "There you go." He pulled two mini bowls from his bag and filled them up. They began eating them. "You need a bowl for Squirtle, Dawn?" Bill asked, eating away at the marshmallow flavored biscuits.
Dawn looked to him. "No...It's okay...I don't have one anyway," she said and shrugged before feeding Squirtle another marshmallow flavored biscuit.

"Hello! Do you sell food here?" He asked. They nodded. "Then could we have… two of them big bags?" Bill asked. There were two giant bags, around 10 inches big each, and they could both have one. They were given them and Bill paid.
"There you go, Dawn!" Bill gave her one. "They’re marshmallow flavor! Our Pokémon and we can eat them!"
"Thanks!" Dawn smiled and took the packet before sitting down with Squirtle on her lap and she fed on to it.

"Yeah, it’s a shop. I saw the sign near the Pokémon Center." He smiled. "I assume it sells food."
"Well let's go check!" Dawn smiled back at him. "Come on!"

"We could go to the Poké Mart first to get some food, and then try to get a room in the Pokémon Center?"
"Um...The Poke Mart? Is that a shop?" Dawn looked at him. "If it is, yeah let's go there. I'm really hungry."

"Oh yeah, Bulbasaur and Rattata haven’t eaten in a while… we’ll go get some food after this battle." Bill smiled. "Now, use Tackle again!" He chuckled. "And then Tail Whip, then Tackle!"

After around 25 minutes, Bill had beaten 4 Nidoran and Rattata with Bulbasaur and Rattata, which left Bulbasaur at Level 6 and Rattata at Level 4. He was glad with the progress, so he decided to call it a day.
"Let’s head back and get some food, then sleep."
"Yep! Come on then Squirtle!" Dawn scooped up her Pokemon and smiled before she turned around and stomped back to Viridian City. "Wait...Are we going to the Pokemon Center again?"

"I’m going to battle it." Bill smiled. "You should find a Pokémon to battle, too."
He ran in front of it, and pushed Rattata into the battle.
"I feel a bit more confident and stronger now, I know how to command my Pokémon. At least I hope I do." He smirked. "Rattata, use Ember!" Rattata turned around and raised an eyebrow. "Sorry, I meant, run to it and use Tackle!"
"I'm just going to watch and give some food to Squirtle because it hasn't eaten in a while." Dawn smiled and sat down before she petted Squirtle and went through her back to find the Pokemon Food. "Oh yeah...The Rattata stole it all..."

Bill saw a small, purple Pokémon, and pulled out his Pokédex.
Nidoran♂. Its horn is larger than the female’s and its Horn Attack is quite powerful.
"Wow! It looks so cool! If I didn’t already have two Pokémon to train, I’d totally catch it!" Bill grinned.
"Its cute...But I don't think I want to catch it..." Dawn watched it.
Reunion in Viridian
"Let’s go down Route 22." Bill headed down the road. It was much more shaded and grassy, and Bill hoped other Pokémon would be there to battle.
Dawn tightened her ponytail on her head before she followed Bill. Squirtle was on the floor, happily plodding next to its trainer.

"Oh… oh well, I’m going to train you two to be stronger and learn new moves! It’s getting quite dark, but oh well! Are you coming, Dawn and Squirtle? If not, I’ll meet you here later! But come with me if you want!" Bill began heading away.
"Yeah we're coming!" Dawn ran after him, Squirtle in her arms.
