I love Lang Leav, I really do, but I don’t think we’re ready for a film around her work.

Syempre nasasaktan ako na ang daming haters ni Lang kasi to be (really) honest, I really like her work. Yes, they’re digestible, walang masyadong play with words, but the simplicity is what gets me every time. Nandito palang siya sa tumblr nun, gusto ko na siya. Wala pa siyang book nun, like writingsforwinter na may book na rin ngayon.

The point is, pagyamanin muna natin ang sariling atin. Sobrang daming magagaling na artists sa Pilipinas, hindi na natin kailangang lumayo. Especially ngayon na sumisikat na ang spoken poetry, it will be a great start to publicize that more instead of a Leav film. Sayang kasi yung talent sa Pinas, hindi naaacknowledge. Marami sa mga artists natin, sa ibang bansa pa gumagawa ng pangalan kasi hindi sila narerecognize dito. Nakakalungkot na nakakainis na nauna pang magagawan ng film ang isang banyagang manunulat.

Pero ang pinakakinaiinisan ko talaga ay baka maging susunod na wattpad na ang poetry sa bansa natin. Alam mo yun? Sulat sa wattpad-napublish as a book-ginawang movie-ano na???

So yes, I love Lang Leav pero sana hindi totoo na nakipagpartner na siya with Star Cinema kasi promise, no. ‘Wag na sana nilang i-try.

I know how to appreciate the little things that is why I am surprised and happy when Kevin gave me flowers yesterday. Yes, I was aware that he's stopping by, literally for just 3-5mins. I opened the gate for him but he didn't come in. He just stood there, smiled, and gave me the flowers. I was taken aback, and I think I was smiling like an idiot because he suddenly laughed. I didn't even notice that he was carrying something! I asked him what are the flowers for and he said he just wanted to give me some. #kilig So I kissed him goodbye and went home smiling. I was genuinely happy. First, because I was never the type of girl that occasionally receives flowers. I remember receiving a bouquet of flowers two years ago, and it was prom. I was already 4th year high school then and my date was the one who gave me. That was the only time that I received flowers from a guy. Yeah, I don't really like flowers, I don't even have a favorite but I do appreciate them and I'm happy to receive such from someone. Second, this was the first time Kevin gave me flowers. He's also the type who is so excited doing something that he usually spoils the surprise because he's so excited to tell me. And this time, giving me flowers was really just something he thought of on a last minute. We already talked earlier that day that he's coming to see me but just for a few minutes because he misses me and wanted to see me before he go to school so I was already expecting him to come. And well, the flowers were a bonus. This may seem lame to you, but I feel special because our relationship is slowly growing (and becoming more and more cheesy). Not in a materialistic and sappy movie way but because we do things that really makes one another happy even with the little surprises from time to time. I'm already writing him a letter (because he loves receiving love letters from me) and I'm planning to give this to him with something that I hope will make him smile like the flowers did to me. Just something out of his expectations. Hahahaha. Anyway, I missed you, guys! Have a great day ahead of you!
