“Don’t be so comprehensive.” she pouted as she crossed her arms. Looking away, Sofia wondered why was she still trying to convey him. It wouldn’t happen so earlier, she just knew it. “I just tripped. It happens to no one else.
Sofia wasn’t silly. Maybe a little, but not so much. She was able to notice a grin on his lips before he cover it, and her face just got a little redder. “Hey, what’s wrong with being a senior…?” Muttered her, looking away to don’t show her embarrassment. His note about don’t wanting a girlfriend surprised the girl. ”You do?” She’d never think boy say something like this. She was almost thinking he played on the other team when he finished. It was actually… Really cute. Specially with him looking so embarrassed. ”Really?” She smiled, bending herself to look closely at him. “Woah, that’s usual. I mean, it’s easy to find guys thinking like this.” Sitting again, she nodded in agreement with her own thoughts. ”I’m really sorry for the girl who dates you.”
"You're so naive... I wasn't saying that it was bad though. I was just thinking it was funny." Gray smiled loosely, enjoying watching her get upset. But by the next moment, the tables were flipped, and it was Gray who was getting flustered. "Really. I'm serious! Are you making fun of me?" Gray knew she wasn't, but he couldn't close his mouth before his defensive nature came out. A little subdued, he continued. "Hn. .. You think? But as I said, I don't think any girls here would want a guy like that... So I don't think I'll even bother trying to bother getting a girlfriend." Looking back at the girl leaning in, Gray wanted to take the attention from him, so his pink face would be unnoticed. Also, he wanted her to get embarrassed like him as payback. So he said "And what about you?" ((It's not like he wanted to know or anything.))
The feeling of a warm hand caressing her head made her cheeks grown a little hot. It felt really good, and Sofia was embarrassed for feeling like this. “I am a mascot to be petted like this…” she muttered, pouting a little at him. The mention of them never knowing their names made her sit up in surprise. That was right. How had they talked for so long without even knowing each other’s name? She opened her mouth to answer, but was cut out with him offering part of his corn. “Are you sure…?” she mumbled, not knowing if it was right to accept- But not feeling like rejecting either. “O-Oh and I’m Sofia.” She remembered to answer his ask for her name. ”It’s nice to see you again… Eh…” Should she ask his? After so long talking, it was a little awkward to just do it. Could she be so silly?
Gray laughed a little, and said "No, not a mascot. But you looked like you needed petting." As soon as his hand left her head he realized just how soft her hair had been. He would've wished to pet it again, had he not gotten a wave of blush to his face. Looking down, he nodded and pushed the plate between them. "Yeah. I'm sure. Hey, baked corn's my favorite. So when I say I'm sharing, I'm sharing. Now don't fuss over it." Glancing up from the plate, Gray matched her face to her name. It seemed to fit her really well. He nearly smiled when she said it was nice to see him again, it was kind of cute how she meant to say one thing but said another. And it didn't do any real harm, it seemed like her meaning was so obvious. He finally did crack a smile and replied "Hn, yes, it's nice to meet you." There was a short moment of silence, and it occurred to Gray maybe she was waiting for his name. Shifting his cap, he quickly disclosed to her, "Ah, I'm Gray."
