We've been discussing English dub headcanons on the Discord recently, and since the @boueibu-ship-bracket is nearing its end, I figured it would be cool to grab this URL, not just for Boueibu, but all the Umatani series that haven't gotten dubs.
I'm thinking it'll be a Google Form for each series, starting with LOVE!
Submit the VA you think should voice each Umatani character, along with the character(s) they've voiced for the sample. (If a VA has a large range, you don't want me to post the wrong reference that's out of character!)
Oh, and one quick guideline also: only submit VAs who are currently active.
I know the URL says "bracket," but depending on how many submissions, it'll probably be one poll per character with all possible voices at once.
If there are overlapping submissions that win their polls (same VA for multiple characters wins), those characters will get a poll to determine who should get the voice. The loser of that poll will get their second most-voted option.
If characters from different Umatani series share a seiyuu, the winning VA from the first series' poll will be in the preceding characters' polls, even if they weren't submitted. (Ex: Yumoto's winning VA will be in the running for Bakkun and Jiro.)
Similarly, any characters who share a seiyuu with a character in RobiHachi will have that VA as an option in the poll by default. (Ex: Stephen Fu will be an option for Akihiko, because he voiced Hatchi, and Aki and Hatchi share a seiyuu.)
Winning voices will be featured in dub headcanons videos, like I did for the first season of Boueibu back in the day. (But with better editing, better voice clips, and better choices all around.)
