i've never watched critical role or their animated series but i do often daydream about naddpod c1 getting the same animated series treatment. it haunts me.
last time i fully brainstormed this with null we cast like. half the major npcs but i unfortunately didn't write any of it down. but from what i do remember here are some of my Big Dreams:
i don't know how the cr show breaks up their arcs into seasons so this might be totally unrealistic but my thoughts on how it could work here. season 1 is moonstone through galaderon, finale ends on bev sending the green knights to the fae wild. season 2 is the crick through frostwind, finale ends on the boobs going through the gash. season 3 is the fae wild through right before the hellfire chronicles. i'm in between the season finale being right before they go into hell or the finale ending when thiala reveals herself to the council. season 4 is the hellfire chronicles through the finale.
murph gets a few npcs to voice, i think five would be a nice, clean number. most important to me are balnor, paw paw, and pendergreens. selfishly i'd want him to still voice jolene but i'd also understand recasting her. erlin would also be a good one to stay murph.
i cast all of the legendary heroes last time i talked about this but i unfortunately have no memory of the thiala casting. however i Do remember that i had steve blum as ulfgar and aabria iyengar as alanis and i stand by that completely.
because this is my daydream world it means that they have all the money in the world. which means they have the money to license youth of the nation for the end credits. episode 100 has one big bed end credits, though, of course.
episode 100 end credits also play over a post-campaign montage of everyone being happy, maybe leading into the one year later jamboreen and the balnor contingency letter.
opening credits of each episode have the pcs' names alongside one of the intro rhymes from the episode(s) being adapted. because i cannot imagine loosing turdis or fae wild, gay child they make me laugh too much.
there's probably way more but i'm inviting everyone to talk about their beautiful visions for this now. thank you.
