Just a Hunch
Derek was only working off of a hunch at this point, but it was more than he had acquired in months. He of course had been able to cross off rat shifters and already known face claims for human shifters as possible candidates, but that had still left the field of possibilities pretty wide. He finally had found someone who could possibly be D.W. He had been working relentlessly to find the man that had broken his tail, and now he could be close. He knew he had to be careful, and he knew he might find out his hunch was wrong, but he was willing to take the risk. He approached the person carefully, hoping to be able to strike up a conversation. He gave a polite smile. “Hi. I was looking for some company and wondered if you might be up for a small chat.”
Fallon had been working on restoring books most of the morning until she decided to go out and get something to eat. She had expected it to just be a really quick trip out and back, but she was surprised to get stopped on the street. She looked at the man with a brow raised, “Um...do you normally just ask strangers to talk?”
