It's hard to tell. All my favorite video games have extremely convoluted lore that no one gives a shit about because it's scattered across the four winds inside the video game itself. Some people don't even know dst has lore.

I guess genshin is a good one because the quests are right in your face despite having plenty of additional lore that everyone also forgets to favor the featured-gacha-character-of-the-month

OH twisted wonderland also has some pretty good lore despite all the yuusona self inserts that would make you believe this is an dating sim otherwise

OK SO in single-player Don't Starve there's a mod that comes with the game that's actually a second game inside it. It's called "The Screecher" i think? And looks like a copy of slenderman. I'm still scared of it to this day, because I didn't know it was inside Don't Starve.

Nothing prepared me for it before clicking and playing and it's terrifying.
