Someone: “Hey! How’s school going for you-”
Mycroft has his wedding ring on a necklace under his collar.
Greg was hurt that Mycroft hid the ring under his shirt instead of proudly displaying it on his hand (as Greg does). That is, until Mycroft explained that he likes the ring nestled close to his heart
When someone really annoys him, Greg imagines arresting them and he feels better.
Mycroft makes Anthea hack John’s blog to fix his grammar.
Mycroft leaves Christmas at his parent's place early every year to go visit Eurus.
Mycroft and Greg are a very competitive couple.
Mycroft’s guilty pleasure is watching Greg on CCTV.
Mycroft carries around plasters for paper cuts from all his paperwork.
Mycroft always has Sherlock’s violin pieces stuck in their head.
Greg is the only one that can make Mycroft affectionate.
Mycroft has his wedding ring on a necklace under his collar.
Mycroft is a huge perfectionist and Greg always helps calm him down.
Greg has multiple IDs for when Sherlock steals them.
Greg and Mycroft duel each other with umbrella swords when they're bored.
Greg can always tell when Mycroft’s had nightmares about Eurus.
Greg has found and busted into Mycroft top-secret government meetings just to continue an argument they were having earlier in the day.
That day finally Mycroft’s ‘goldfish’ colleagues realised that DI Lestrade is not to underestimate. Greg is a very capable man, something Mycroft already knew. And after the first time it happened is forever secretly dubbed as event “Silver Fox” among Mycroft’s colleagues.
(extra) At first Mycroft really thought his colleagues were just a bunch of goldfish. The code “silver fox” was also used for a highly top secret file + mission. Thinking they were constantly reminiscing that particular important tough mission. Once he figured out the pattern, he somehow managed to use it to his advantage. It took some time since Mycroft pays no attention to frivolous things. Biggest give away was the fact: one day they gave Mycroft a present for Greg’s birthday, a small silver fox statue, smirking a lot as Mycroft walked away with the present heading home. Unware untill giving Greg the present.
Eventually, Mycroft has told the whole story to Greg once he completely figured everything out and taking care of the matter. And Greg’s first respond was laughing for at least 10 minutes straight and Mycroft’s scrunched up facial expression did not help either. Of course Greg knew the perfect way to lighten up Mycroft’s sour mood.
……… extra……
Greg’s present for Mycroft’s birthday was a silver fox badge. Greg ensured he would enquire with Mycroft’s assistant Anthea if he wore it the whole day on his birthday very visibly for everyone to see. Requesting frequent updates with pictures from her.
Greg and Mycroft argue over how much surveillance Sherlock needs.
