Required Elements & Protocol Abbreviations, 2018-19 Season and Onwards

As many of you are aware, the ISU implemented several major rule changes at the 57th ISU Congress, altering the scoring system, composition of skating programs, and a few naming conventions. While we gradually work on updating our Introduction to Skating Guides, here’s a post to keep track of which elements are required in senior skating programs and how to identify the abbreviations used in protocols.

Scott Moir talking about doing synchronized axels with Yuzuru Hanyu on CTV Saskatoon News: “That was one thing that happened in Japan because Yuzuru asked us and we can’t really say no at his *show. He said ‘I’d really like to do axels with you’ and I don’t think we’ve done that since the Ilderton Skating Club carnival in 2001, so it was kind of a funny experience to do single axels besides a man who quite often does triples.”

*Note: Fantasy on Ice isn’t actually Yuzuru’s ice show, but Brian Orser and now Scott have called it that. 🤣

I work as a cashier at a local grocery store. A woman came in today asked me and my two friends our favorite colors, then gave us these crystals. Woman left us with parting words, "You're all Goddesses" Immediately thought of @thevirtch with her crystal theories!

What happened in Scotland? Sorry I’m a new fan!! Thanks for your constant kindness in this fandom.

Scotland is a part of VMFandom lore.  Tessa and Scott went on a trip with Gold Medal Plate in 2015.  Scott’s girlfriend at the time also went on the trip.  But to some there was a level of intimacy between TS that would have been uncomfortable for his girlfriend.  They also decided on their comeback a few months later.  And shortly after that it became clear that Scott no long was with his girlfriend.  Now there has never been anything concrete and it is all cumor based.  People making assumptions about TS relationship.  But here is the interview I think that kind of kicked off a new level of speculation:

Today my mom asked me to move the stool I was sitting on -- so I told her "maybe I'll kick it instead". She was confused but I was proud of my allusion.
