I want to state, for the record, that “all the avengers would live together in the tower” wasn’t collective headcanon, it was canon. The very last scene of Avengers (2012), the one they left us on, is Tony redesigning the tower, designing a living area for each Avenger. That was, canonically, what was supposed to happen, in canon, and they just changed their minds and decided to… not. For whatever goldarn reason.
Also it was canon for literal decades in the comics. First it was Avengers Mansion which was Tony’s Manhattan family home and then Avengers Tower when Tony built it. At one point Avengers Mansion couldn’t get their trash carried away because in order to operate in the US they had to be an embassy and NYC trash carriers don’t service embassies.

Sometimes my one year old refuses to sleep and usually after about forty minutes to an hour I give up and take her downstairs to get her energy out and play. Tonight after an hour she informed me that she has an owie and needs a diaper change. Not even five minutes after I changed her she pooped.

The crew interactions are really nice. I'm glad they managed to give more interactions to the characters, it really flesh them out a lot. The Usopp and Zoro interaction at Drum was nice, even though I think Zoro should have also apologised and told Usopp he was right in saying he couldn't stay doing nothing at all
Deaths and deaths and deaths and real fucking fights. Zoro actually murders the billions on Whiskey Peak. And the women in there. No fucking stupid misogyny and "not too much violence". That's good. That actually really makes the show greater. The manga is awesome and the lesser deaths do work as it's way more comedic and cartoonish. The live action need its real violence.
Tashigi actually collecting swords and following her dream and being a huge nerd. Oda really disrespected and underused Tashigi in the manga, I'm really fucking glad she gets to be more fleshed out and we actually see her follow her dream.
Same for Nami and her maps. I'm really glad we get to see her talk about her dream and her maps. Those little interactions make everything so much better than in the manga where we quite never see Nami collecting maps and even less drawing maps.
Mr 5 and Miss Valentine holy hell, really well made duo, they are absolutly amazing ! Actors nailed it.
Miss Goldenweek is creepy and freakish and her magical paint was really nice. I like how she can manipulate Mr 3 to do what she wants. A bit sad she didn't get a proper fight against Usopp though. He could have taken her paint and shot her directly, he's intelligent enough to figure that out.
Mihawk representing Zoro's anxiety voice... Woah, what a fucking great idea. It works really well and manifests Zoro's anxiety really well. They also manage to manifest his anxiety through his words, actions and attitude but I think this is a really nice touch. Zoro has some trauma too. He's just not very talkative. I'm glad they found a way to represent it.
Zoro instant adopting Chopper was really on point (Mackenyu must have loved these scenes lol). The first look on him you could SEE in his eyes that he instant adopted him. And the putting him on his shoulders at the end, aaaaaaaah cute !!!
Sheeesh the backstories, either Laboon or Chopper, were really emotional and well made. I'm so happy they got Luffy to sing Bink's Brew to get Laboon to surface and talk to him !!! I kinda used the same idea in my fanfiction hehe
Bartolomeo actually meeting Nami and Luffy and being a part of the story is really good. Having Barto confused at the "dreams" ask is crucial. I hope we'll see him again in the next seasons because he was really well acted and integrated into the story in my opinion.
Sanji bringing Usopp upstairs with the twins is hilarious, and them being saved by Zoro while they're tied up, what a laugh.
Zoro actually asking for help for once in his life, to Sanji nonetheless, while being high on Miss Goldenweek's paint, is really something. Zoro high was really something. Nami high was really something. They made Goldenweek so much stronger than she is in the manga. Luffy fighting the paint was horrible to watch, he was acting so well !

I have many OPLA thoughts, but the scene between Roger and Garp made me gasp. How Roger is calling out Garp on all his fake titles was absolutely everything.

Many places in the US are repairing their unused tracks for additional passenger lines. Tracks that have been abandoned for years or even decades may now have trains on them.
Do not walk on railroad bridges.
Do not play chicken with trains. They will win.
Trains are faster than your car is. You cannot outdrive a train.
Trains are faster than you are. You cannot outrun a train.
Trains are, in general, much faster than you think they are and the train operator cannot stop in time even if they see you.
If you think that you'll just know a train is coming, that you'll hear or see it in time to move, then you are wrong.
If your car is stalled on tracks or otherwise stuck and you can't move it after several tries, get out instead of spending more time trying. If a train is actively coming towards you, just get out. Move at an angle towards the train and away from the tracks so that you aren't in the path of the car getting pushed or at immediate risk of being hit by debris.
Most railroads have signage with emergency numbers; call the number about any obstructions or damage to the tracks.
People die from train collisions all the time, both in and out of vehicles. In the US, train-car collisions and fatalities have stayed pretty much the same since 2009, averaging at ~250 fatalities every year. This does not include people just walking on tracks; my area has had multiple fatalities from pedestrians being hit by trains in the last few years.

I'm going to address a specific set of notes in this post (without indicating who wrote them) because it's a valuable insight into criticisms of this post. But what I would ask is this: do you not remember how JKR (being a successful female author and businesswoman) was lauded as a feminist hero during the peak of the books' success which allowed her to make a large part of modern feminism incredibly TERF-y because of her influence? Because I think we should all do well to remember that.
Interestingly, this critique then goes on to make my entire point for me, albeit maybe slightly more charitably than I. It goes on to say "queer people are not a monolith" and that we should inform ourselves as to who owns these businesses. Yes! Yes! This is my point! Relying purely on identity politics to judge whether businesses (and people) are good or not is bad!
It closes out by saying big corps "don't count" when talking about queer-owned businesses. Honestly? Yeah, I agree. Most of the time, people are talking about small queer-owned businesses. That is because this post is a joke. I have applied the label of "queer-owned business" to some businesses the label is not usually applied to to point out the limits of identity politics in business.
Corporations are not your friends. Small businesses can be your friends, and they are closer to your level than Big Corporations - but that doesn't mean they always will be.
