Checking in

Ok...haven't been on Tumblr in agess… I’m surprised I remembered my password. Just checking in and giving you an update. Feel like I’ve moved forward in a positive direction. Maybe not where I want to be exactly. Not how I imagined…

For one, thought my business would have taken off by now but still in the beginning stages. I guess hard having a side hustle when you work full time.

Thought I would have made more friends through dance class. But that’s ok. I absolutely love it. Been doing salsa, bachata and zouk, started a year ago and can’t see myself ever stopping. I think it’s just a part of my life now. Even did a dance performance! (Will post up) Also have been doing a little bit of Bump and Grind exercise hehe. Did have dreams of being a professional dancer when I was in high school but never had formal training and thought I was too old to start. At 29, I think I could almost be, if I kept up the dancing with The Salsa Foundation. Where I take classes, 100% recommend. Even if you think you have 0 rhythm and dance ability. They teach you all that at a really good pace. Also, super fun.

Started dealing with my anxiety. Been seeing a therapist for a year now. Feel more equipped to deal with it now. Will do another post with my recommendations..

Finally moved out of home lol. Found the perfect place. Closer to work so you don’t have to deal with the long commute anymore. And perfect size, I’ve set up my studio space :D. Currently living with two other housemates who are awesome.

Thought a cute guy would have asked me out already from dance class. Uuugh I feel like one of those girls from If You Are the One (Chinese dating show, funny as) who’ve become veterans. Ok I lie, got asked out by one guy and went on a date but wasn’t feeling it. Haven’t seen him since in dance class :-/ Hope that’s not my fault, will probably hide somewhere if I do spot him lol. Very mature I know.
