who’s going to tell mr griffin we don’t care about mirkdell or rivenwood?

I never really know what Mr. Griffin is talking about, but it makes him happy and I think that’s nice. So, I care.

TEXT: CEDRIC
Ryke: Happy Birthday, Cedric. Thank you again for all your help with the New York map :) I don't know how it fell into your hands but I'm really happy it did.
hydcharlie :
Only all the time. She does do that, little darling. I rarely ask after ingredients before I’m stuffing down whatever she’s cooked so it’s a good deal she knows about the peanuts or else you’d have already attended my funeral. She must be a well traveled feline, I don’t even go out that much.
Oh yes, very much so. It’s quite nice to have a bed all to myself, for the most part. What was she like? Evidently not the greatest human being for doing that.
You have to eat fast around Sherrie, too. She wolfs her food. I don’t know how she’s so small. And yes, well traveled. I think she goes out more than I do, too.
Why wouldn’t you have a bed to yourself? She was nice, worked the night shift. We never saw her much. So I liked her by proxy. I guess because we never spoke, Sherrie didn’t know she was the kind of person who’d skip out without paying rent.
hydcharlie :
You know, the slightly-amused-but-still-judging-you eyebrow? I’m starting to think that it’s just reserved for me because no one else knows what I mean. I suppose it’s important in her line of work, not poisoning her customers and whatnot. Shellfish, that’s tragic. Has Teddy ever left house with her still in there? Because that’s something I’d probably most definitely do by accident.
I don’t think I’ve ever had cause to be on the receiving end of it. I’m guessing you have? Yeah. And not poisoning her brother. Sherrie makes a lot of alterations for me. She’s good like that. And yeah, Twix loves to ride the rails. I miss her when she’s not there, though.
Do you like the apartment? I liked Sherrie’s last roommate, but she did a pretty bad thing, leaving without paying the rent and everything.
hydcharlie :
You should be, I’m very offended. I’m kidding— don’t look like that. Sherrie makes that face too except she does the whole eyebrow thing, you know what I’m talking about, surely? Well, if you’ve been feeding it to him this whole time and he’s still alive it’s probably fine. I may pass on giving him some though, simply because I’ll erupt into horrendous hives and no one wants to see that. Coats too?
I don’t. Sherrie and I make the same faces sometimes, though. Although I don’t have the same proclivity for remembering people’s allergies as she does. I’m sure she’s already struck nuts out of all her future recipes. She hasn’t cooked anything with shellfish in years. But yes, coats. She likes to hide in Teddy’s pockets.
hydcharlie :
I’m taking it a little personally. I was prepared to give him belly scratches and everything so the rejection stings. I know, I took my shoe off for five minutes the other day and she hid in there, I nearly squished her into a kitty pancake.
I’m sorry. He’s a bit anti-social. You can lure him out with little bits of peanut brittle, but his vet says I should stop feeding him human food. But peanut brittle. Yeah - Teddy and I have just got used to checking before we put our shoes on now. Our coats too, actually.
I’m sorry, Snickers isn’t a very social cat. Don’t take it personally. You might have better luck with Twix, if you can find her. She likes to play hide and seek.
