lay out intentions like paving of ease in future moments. “i’m gonna have fun in class tomorrow”, “when i go for a walk i’m gonna see so many beautiful things”, “i’m gonna have the most cozy night tonight”, “i’m gonna be very present with my friend on wednesday”, etc. see how easily the moment adapts. it’s like a little spell to set yourself up for goodness

i've been singing since i met you, and poorly, but i can't help it. the sunshine pours out of me like lava. you are every full moon, and every heartbreak film, and every ocean, and every song. everything before you was nonsense. nonsense that i was constantly trying to give a name until it broke me. it is healing to be this loved. it is an open wound under running water it is the sting of antiseptic and the comfort of clean cloth. i want to go back and tell them, tell her, that the story doesn't end there. there is still hope in the waiting.
