Do you ever see Demencia getting over the fact that black hat can't love her and she just finds someone else to be happy with? I mean I still like the idea of lizardhat but Dem deserves better imo.
She’s obsessed with him, it doesn’t matter that Black Hat never returns it, she’ll always love him and convince herself that he’ll love her someday, she just has to change his mind. And no, Alan has made pretty clear that she exists to serve Black Hat… I don’t think she’s able to love anything else but him. She’s insane. She loves evil. It’s in her core, therefore, she has to love Black Hat… Forever.
I see what you're getting at, so if she didn't love him that would open doors for her to betray Black Hat. And he doesn't want that, so he constantly plays with her feelings to keep her loyalty to him.
