Meet Kayne (pronounced Kane) and Plenticia! Chaotic evil rapscallions in the style of a classic final fantasy game. Kayne is my OC, he’s a dragoon who fell off an airship. Plenticia is my little sister’s OC, a black mage whose house Kayne landed on.
They go on a quest for vengeance and destruction. Ideally you could play it like Undertale, where the genocide run is the basic game but you COULD try being peaceful.
The peace run is much harder, since the game is going to treat you like villains regardless, BUT if you DON’T go around torching cities (which you can do), then they’ll be available to visit later in the game. Otherwise you can torch the cities for funsies, but the equipment in them is lost.
There would also be a class system like in FF5 and 10-2. But half of the classes are Kayne-only and the other half are Plenticia’s. Each class would also give them a class-specific limit break. Kayne is a weapon master, and Plenticia is a master mage.

You’d think Kayne would have mystic knight since it’s a sword class. Then Plenticia would have white mage, since it’s a mage. But Plenticia is the OPPOSITE of a healer. She’s a harmer.
And Kayne is more of the “holy damage and massive hammers” kind of white mage anyway.
Red mage is another mage that can equip swords, so where do you draw the line? Eventually this is how it shook out.
Plenticia thinks the geomancer is kinda stupid, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the incandescent RAGE Kayne feels at having to wear the beast master suit. With a name like “BEAST MASTER” he was expecting it to be COOL!
All together, Kayne and Plenticia have 26 classes. 12 individual ones, and then they both have freelancer (AKA no class equipped) and Mimic.
I didn’t include it in all the classes, because it would mess with the aesthetic, but Kayne has a lodestone he wears on a chain around his neck. It functions like a multi tool on an airship.
Kayne’s name is Kayne Highwind. He’s the son of this game’s Cid. He was raised on an airship, and trained to be a dragoon after a dragon attacked their flagship in his childhood. After having a falling out with his boyfriend, there was a massive storm one night. It was all hands on deck, despite him being in a “just got dumped” funk. That foggy frame of mind lead to him miscalculating a jump over a hole in the hull, and he fell overboard.
He would’ve landed in the open ocean and drowned, but luckily there was an island below him. His training as a dragoon allowed Kayne to control his fall and pick a target to land on. Since he only ever lands for MAXIMUM DAMAGE he OBLITERATED the house he landed on, and injured himself pretty badly.
The next door neighbors were a mixed white mage/black mage family (a group of my younger sister’s OCs) and they healed him up. Kayne now seeks revenge on the guy that dumped him while Plenticia follows him around, mainly to get revenge for him wrecking her stuff.
Plenticia sounds like Orco from the original He Man cartoons, while Kayne has a deep, raspy, tired-sounding voice (he tends to sleep with one eye open with an angry black mage around).
