"Simple design. But a robot with an attitude... this is definitely new." He raised a brow. "How come you're so small?"

"You are a treasure hunter right? Surely you must have explored this zone for yourself, hmm?"

Wandering through zones for a living didn’t seem like a great way to spend your days, Knuckles thought, though he supposed that when there was no alternative, it would have to do. He felt a little ill to think that someday it would be him who would have to go look for a new universe to reside in, with the way things were going back home. That thought frightened him even more than the dangerous life he was living now.

He tried not to think about it, instead listening to the other speak. Tampered memories? Knuckles frowned. That didn’t sound very good, nor plausible, though he supposed that anything was possible within the multiverse. Why in the world would the other’s memories be altered? Had he seen something he shouldn’t have?

"Who messed them up?"

He didn’t know if it was nosy or rude to ask, but the other had brought it up, after all.

Knuckles raised a brow at the frown that had formed on the others face. Then a question was asked. Oh, so this alternate was a rather curious one.

"A rather deranged part of my family. Not sure if you had them in your zone or have run into them in others. but they're a group called the Dark Legion." A light snarl was made. 

He hated thinking about his false family if anything. It brought back certain emotions he did not want to revisit.
