Bananas are baby Z’s favorite. She even calls all food “Nana” but when it is really a Naner she says it loudly and repeatedly.

Having a baby during the pandemic was unexpected and not ideal.. It was right at the beginning of the shutdown and everything seemed stressful, and shortly after being born baby Z displayed signs of Jaundice and not as light as our first baby had. This kept her in the nicu for about a week after being born and another week after being released because her number went up again. Not to mention I wasn't healed yet and the stress of being alone in the hospital with no help and my other child at home wanting me to come back was definitely hurtful... However baby pulled through without any further complications and after monitoring for another week or so in separate appointments it was clear she was over it. Aside from that I LOVED this birth it was quick and natural and I don't regret not having the epidural. This pregnancy kicked my ass but the delivery was not bad and honestly if it was like that I wouldnt mind doing it once more lol. Not anytime soon though.

Wish I had...

I wish I had recorded my second pregnancy on here like I did my first. Unfortunately I haven't been back here in a long time and my time is taken up all the time by my first child and projects and life. And during my pregnancy there was a pandemic that was driving me insane because i was worried all the time. Also we are in the middle of moving so there's that. Now my baby is 1 and I don't have much to read on for her journey. I have tried to journal some of her monthly happenings but its been difficult. I haven't been in the best of moods all the time and sometimes I feel drained from just living... Though I must admit postpartum didn't hit me as hard as it did last time.

A little of everything ….

I seriously commend every parent on here actually remembering to blog their kids Journey! I haven’t posted on here since 2017… which feels ancient my baby isn‘t a baby anymore… this blog dedicated to her doesn’t even reflect the amount of crazies I’ve been through with her … it is now 2021 we have been made it through most of the pandemic though the same cannot be said for both our sanities… also we welcomed bby no.2 in the middle of the pandemic as if things weren’t stressful enough then. We did that and she’s good and happy and healthy…now a 1 yr old baby and where has time gone again?!
