WELCOME TO WAYWARD PINES ;
WHERE PARADISE IS HOME.
It was in 1996 that David Pilcher discovered that the human genome was evolving, and so began his mission to preserve humanity and to rebuild civilization. He created a picturesque universe in the town of Wayward Pines, Idaho which David Pilcher founded when searching for a safe zone for humanity to reawaken. In 1999, Arnold Pope (one of David Pilcher’s followers) began abducting people to place in suspended animation only to awake the first batch (Group A) in the year 4016. He’d told them the truth of how they’d arrived in Wayward Pines, but most did not believe him. Those who did not believed escaped the walled in community of Wayward Pines, only to be killed by the aberrations and those who did believe committed suicide. After the failure of group A, the rules in Wayward Pines were changed. The adults couldn’t know the truth – and anyone who dared not follow the rules was to be publicly executed. It was a system that worked, until the Burke family was brought into their sleepy little town. Thanks to Ethan Burke and his family, a second rebellion was spawned and the aberrations found themselves into Wayward Pines for a second time. After that, everyone – with the exception of the first generation, was placed into suspended animation once again while they rebuilt the community of Wayward Pines with the first generation now in the position of power, only waking those who serve of use to them.
This verse is open to anyone that is in mutual follow with either myself or @whirlwiinds. All applications can be sent via submit.
While this is a verse for Wayward Pines, it is not necessarily required that you’ve seen the show. Though I would personally recommend that you are at least familiar with the source material. You can read up on the show wiki if you don’t feel like watching.
Please be active! Of course, everyone has lives but a verse cannot survive if you don’t put effort into keeping it alive & going.
OC’s are allowed in this verse as well as canon characters.
