we've identified heavily with wolves / canines since we can remember, though only recently joined therian communities! which does mean that there are many terms & such that we do not know yet ＞︿＜

It is okay if you don’t like fireworks. It is okay if you need to stay inside during 4th of July celebrations. It is okay if you need earplugs, a comfort item or person, a safe and secure den, or any other accommodations to get through the holiday.

It is also okay if you do like fireworks. It is okay if you want to go to firework shows. It is okay if you find excitement from watching them. It is okay if you want to sit as close to the fireworks as safely possible to watch them.

And it is also okay if you want to like fireworks, but find that you need accommodations to make watching them enjoyable, such as earplugs or watching from inside a safe building. It is okay if the desire to watch the pretty lights overrides the fear of the loud noises, even temporarily.

Experiencing any of these doesn’t make you less of your species, even if theriform members of your species would typically experience the opposite.

Remember to be safe if you celebrate 4th of July, or live in an area that celebrates, even if you in particular do not.

i genuinely am a canine (or.. werecanine) that desires to be radiocollared or chipped. similar to my mutuals or those in the orca pod, this is not a “trend” to us. some of us do not even go by traditional names.

I'm not a host anymore, but I was a few years ago!

It was really awesome getting to decorate our room & spend money on the stuff I liked (now we have like 50+ plushies & I am NOT letting anyone get rid of them)

We weren't discovered then, but the work I did with aiding/coping with recovery has let the others trust me a lot more! I am very responsible :3

I'm still a freq fronter now though (therian tumblr is a positive trigger for me hehehe)

Thoughhh it is really nice to get to act as a kid again, even if only online/in private. Was never allowed/able to before. It's like !!! I'm a kid but I CAN have ice cream for dinner & no one is stopping me >:3
