Spencer couldn’t find it in herself to continue arguing with Nina but she also couldn’t make herself walk away. It was all so stupid and pointless; they both should have been past the things that happened between them. “I have dealt with things. Not always in the right way but I have,” she shrugged, rolling her eyes at the money. “You said I owed you a drink and then refuse to take payment for the one I stole? Suit yourself, I’m sure someone else here would love to willingly buy you a drink anyway.”
This was how these arguments always ended up, and to be perfectly frank, Nina was fucking tired of it. The one and only thing Spencer could actually offer, she was refusing to give - but not this time. Nina needed some kind of closure, and she would fight like hell for it before she let Spencer walk away yet again. "No, you don't get to walk away again." The girl had not made a move to leave, but Nina had gotten very good at reading the signs. Instead, she grabbed her by the arm and dragged her outside the bar where they could be alone. "You said you don't owe me anything, but you do. You owe me an explanation. All this time and you've never told me why. I deserve that, Spencer."
