Why do all the drums in 1970s music sound the same here in America. If a song is from the 70s I can tell based solely on the drums.

I LOVE PERRY COMO AND ANDY WILLIAMS
This is SO STINKING CUTE
dammit I miss all my muses and OCs so much
Fuck writer's block and fuck AI. I will admit it isn't helping things, what with fear of your work getting fed into some system.
Here is a post that means Absolutely Nothing (tm)
this might just be about the most beautiful thing I've ever heeard
I am sorry but he is adorable
I think my favorite Perry Como album right now is Como Swings
Help I've fallen in love with Perry Como & Andy Williams' voices all over again
Having the carpenters as a song bug in your head in the morning is a welcome surprise
I am enlightened by this fancy font
So do we remember my Golden Age Hollywood actor/singer OC that's got heterochromia? The one who might at one point, make an appearance in Sidney's story? Because I changed up his biography/summary an itsy bit and also added something. A lot of it is still the same but progress is progress.
Anyway. Here ya go. Forgive any formatting issues I am too lazy to fix them.
(NAME PLACEHOLDER), born circa (BIRTHDAY PLACEHOLDER). Actor and singer most active during the 1940s and into the mid to late 1970s. He is known for his polite, perhaps shy and humble attitudes off the screen, as well as his versatility in roles: romantics, comedics, villains, noir leads, etc. One unique feature about him is that he was born with complete heterochromia iridium, two different eye colors, one blue, one green. Considering the time period, he'd feared it would likely hurt his career, especially after photography and films made their transition into color, or when he starred in a film he knew was to be color. Were there mixed reactions to his eyes, absolutely. He didn't believe he'd pass the first few screen tests. At some point during his career (date and reason TBA) he sustained an injury to his vocal cords that put him on the sidelines in both acting and cutting records, an incident that was widely publicized in various media circles, papers and columns. His return was questioned, but he was soon back to the silver screen after a lengthy hiatus to a reluctant audience. The injury to his vocal cords had transformed the voice they had once knew, and not for the better. As a result, the rest of his works grew mixed thoughts from critics.
But where films saw possible disadvantage, record execs and managers saw an opportunity to his new cadence. He shifted his focus more towards the music industry and narrating rather than acting, feeling disillusioned and betrayed by Hollywood, only taking on certain roles and projects. After a final album release he stepped away from fame, withdrawing from the public spotlight in favor of a calmer life. He no longer needed the rat race of press, the Hollywood that expected conformity and the Hollywood that drew him in and spat him out over change.
Side fun fact: He hates Westerns, owing to the fact three he starred in were, quote, "the most dreadful pictures I've ever been in."
I've got two important appointments coming up soon and it's a possibility my mom won't be there for either of them. One she may be, one she won't.
Yeah I'm an adult but yk in this day an age it's good to have an advocate. Thank god I have my dad. It just... hurts. It's a long story that I'd rather not go into but this isn't a first time occurrence.
so I saw Vitas' little reel on FB of him playing the guitar and singing...
I miss him. Can he release new stuff, please?
i love my cat so much
I love Ellipsus. And I would love it even more if they would create a chapters/section function similar to Google Docs. Would make it SO much easier for me.
