HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY TO STORY OF SEASONS 🥳🥹🎉

The first game I played in the series, was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. My friend brought it over when she slept over on the weekend and I fell in love. The characters and the story really touched me I remember playing that game for hours on end.

Then Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, came out and that one became another favorite. The soundtrack, the characters, the long gameplay… Those were some of the good days on the Nintendo GameCube ☺️ I remember having a notebook, like everyone else, and writing down gameplay tip and tricks to help and writing down the characters likes and dislikes 😂

I played both of those games WELL into my adulthood!

The games from this series, reminds me of the good memories of when I being alone as a kid and seeing how much the series has grown over the years has been really something to see, and watching a newer generation getting to play and to see what we loved growing up and watching the adults become kids again over this series, has been an absolute pleasure🥰

Nick did, become one of the Lost Boys, even fought the Pirates.

He felt how it is to fly.

The Fantasy Peter has shown him was way more than he could imagine.

Yet the bigger and more realistic the dream - the more of a nightmare it becomes.

My resolution last year was to do one thing before bed that would make my morning feel easier, and that’s become a daily habit that I’m carrying into this new year.

Some nights even filling up the kettle and setting an empty mug out for my morning tea felt hard. But I was always thankful for it in the morning.

Other nights, one thing would lead to another, and I’d wake up in a clean house with everything ready to go.

And, on a rare few nights, the one thing that I could do to make my morning easier was going straight to bed and allowing myself to rest.

What stayed the same each day is that I would take a moment to think of what I could do for my future self and do it, even after a hard day. And I would wake up knowing that I had done my best and any effort—no matter how small—was a kindness to myself.

Go, my moth girl

Designed this character based off of Spanish Moon Moths.

Concept wise, I imagined her as a kind of guide to the afterlife. She uses her lantern to lead lost souls (who take the form of moths) and helps put them to rest. Maybe she can't appear when there's a new moon or something, so on those nights there are lots of restless spirits.
