19 has been my year of almosts. Almost winning. Almost making it. Almost finding myself. But like many of the almosts in our lifetime, they never come into fruition. Now, at 20, I'm still not quite sure where I'm headed, but all the almosts I've had is finally pushing me to make my next almost into absolute.

Tonight I stood at the ledge of my three-story balcony 'A short fall', I said, 'nothing I can't survive' and I saw how the unknowing wires hung on the posts; they'd have to break my fall before my body hit the cement with one grand slam but they'd still don't know that the boy they caught  googled how to OD on sleeping pills hours before that the boy they caught had no shrivel of life left in him that the boy they caught has been struggling with the sadness inside of him and so I decided to step off all for the sake of the innocent wires and the bloodless sidewalk that didn't have anything to do with my darkness or my swollen eyes and shattered heart for how could I ruin someone's day with my broken bones  so for tonight... not yet but maybe some time in the future somewhere no one will see

This. This is how you make me feel. The kind of happy that can't take a decent photo because we're too busy laughing at each other's lame jokes. The kind of happy that eats dessert way more than the main course. The kind of happy that has nothing to do and yet enjoys every single moment of it. And so we settle with a sappy-captioned, half-faced blurry photo of me... because this is the only picture that depicts our kind of happy.

Found a draft of my campaign speech lying around in my room. It's been weeks since the defeat, and often times I'd still question the "bigger plan" in store for me. But, now I don't. I guess my life really is pieced out, and the best I can do is make the most out of it. So, why stop? Let's keep talking about destiny.

It's cool to see people here. :) And is it your birthday? Or one of your friends? When they left kasi, they kind of said goodbye to you and all of them said happy birthday. Lol. 😂
