I’ve been forced to think quite a lot recently about acceptance, and letting-go.. It was, sadly, confirmed that our prospective new home in CA did indeed burn.. which I say not to garner sympathy - for all we lost was an opportunity, and so many out there lost so much more…. 😔 But it does completely reshape the way I imagine my life to look, moving forward. I could already smell the sage and lavender that would greet me every morning, and dreamt of playing in the Pacific with this little baby that’s slowly taking form. So I’m resigned to remaining in NY for awhile longer.. and met with the challenge of appreciating this wintry, desolate beauty - that has never felt quite like “home”. Today, for instance, there’s no hint of sun - the sky looms an oppressive gray, and only a slow drizzle emits from it.. patchily melting the snow. But for whatever reason, this is where we will stay put - at least for awhile. At least long enough to birth this munchkin, and await further instruction from the universe. 🙌🏻 So.. this was not meant to be a sad tale of woe, but more an affirmation of my attempt to just allow myself to be guided. (And I am SO so good at fighting when I am very sure I know better than the universe.) 🌟❄️✨💎 For anyone awaiting your recent orders, they are all shipping out as soon as possible.. I do apologize for the added delay that is inevitable this time of year. Just a reminder that Sea Ox is a one-woman show, and there’s literally only so much I am capable of in any given day.
