Sorry to bother you, but do you know if Salt & Burn is still a thing? I just came across it on Pinterest but it’s no longer available on the Etsy site. :(
Hey there Anon; So, Salt & Burn is sort of still a thing; I have a lot of the components, basically everything but the game boards. I can’t buy the game boards again because I don’t need the other components and it’s a whole long story, but basically ~ I remade the game board so that it could be made as a printed modular board on fabric. I have a lot more experience screenprinting than I do with making game boards by hand so it seemed like the logical choice.
It’s however been sort of a wild ride and this particular project keeps getting put on the back burner for me. I got set back when I printed a whole batch of them - only to find my measurements were wrong and they all needed to be edited to add another .5″ [I know, probably way more information than you ever wanted I’m sorry, I’m compelled by forces beyond me]
So the TLDR: Yes, when I get the boards printed/figured out, it will be back in my Etsy shop! I still have at least 50 games worth of cards and rulebooks so I’ll at the very least have one last batch of the game before I retire it completely.
It’s just VERY expensive [like well over 10k] to get the game physically made, I only could do it because of the Kickstarter and if I do another Kickstarter I’d rather make a new game for it so yeah. That’s that!
