Maybe, but the Prince and the local kindred scene seem to be pretty chill when it comes to three-eyed kindred like myself, so I’m not in too bad of a situation.

As a home, Sydney is pretty great. Expensive, but it’s a lovely city. Although, much cheaper when your ‘cost of living’ doesn’t include much actual living, and I get a home through my work. More built up than Wollongong though, and honestly, I miss the city where I grew.

As a vampire domain? Well there’s less nightlife than people would have you think, so it can get pretty boring, and clients have a tendency to dry up. I’m actually not doing too well this week. I’m afraid one too many people may be trying to lessen their ‘dirty habits’ as part of their New Year’s resolutions.

All in all, it’s what I’m stuck with, and I love it nonetheless •:)

Chantries are called as such thanks to Clan Tremere’s past as Mages.

To Mages, a chantry is a place of gathering and is usually situated on a node, or -I suppose- a place of great magical power.

This concept was then I suppose ‘brought over’ by Tremere and his house (yes. The founder of the clan is named Tremere. The mage order is also named after him. It’s ridiculous.) when they became kindred, and started building them as a form of communal haven for fellow Tremere, and also to act as a place of research, and archive.

So usually there’s at least one in every city. They’re very rarely obvious, but they are there.

For example, there’s three in Sydney. When Valentine is referring to ‘the chantry’, They’re referring to the one that’s within The University of Sydney. Or rather, under it. This is generally regarded as the city’s main chantry. Though there are others near the Sydney observatory, and in Haymarket, though that one I believe has only been used a maximum of 10 times. In the 90s.

I know a building full of the clan that has set out to harm and smear is a horrific concept, but I promise that such harm would not befall you in this city. There are protections in place that generally protect salubri such as yourself from being slaughtered. The only thing that negates that is the Prince sentencing you to final death, but that’s easy to avoid.

Also, the control or murder of anyone is not really something I’m interested in. Valentine is allowed to come and go as they please, and as much as they have access to chantry resources, they tend not to use them.

They tend to just distract me at my desk if anything.
