Never tell yourself that you are going to declutter your socks as a part of your spring cleaning, because you'll still be trying to declutter them five months later, and you'll have somehow ended up with more pairs of socks then you originally started out with.

How summer is going:

+ Temperatures have been in the 90s

+ A parasite outbreak has made fresh fruits and vegetables unsafe to eat

+ My garden is growing very poorly (which feels especially cruel right now)

+ The air is filled with wildfire smoke

+ Things are feeling a little apocalyptic right now

When I had a privacy scare and deleted a bunch of personal posts, I deleted the blog entry I wrote when my cat passed away. I feel absolute terrible about it. You're not supposed to rip the pages out of your diary, but I've done it more than once now. And all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't glue the pages back together again.
