Reminder that spring will always come back, music will never stop being created, and there are still so many books left to read! Youβre alive! Youβre alive! Youβre alive!
One night during Ramadan, I sat trying to process my pain before I could process my thoughtsβ¦ The leg I lost wasn't just a part of my body; it was a part of my life that went with me. My son sat in front of me, asking innocently, βDadβ¦ will I wear new clothes for Eid?β His question broke meβ¦ because I couldn't answer him. My wife tried to smile, hiding her fear and exhaustion, while the three of us lived in a tent that offered no protection from the cold or the hardships of life. Today, we're not asking for luxuriesβ¦ all we want is a tent to shelter us, Eid clothes for my son, and a little bit of security in this cruel world. I'm injured and have lost a part of my body, but my greatest pain is my inability to provide my son with even the simplest joy. These words may sound weakβ¦
campaign is documented, number (23), and everything in it is clear and honest. Every bit of supportβeven a wordβcan make a difference in our lives. If you've reached this pointβ¦ don't leave us alone. I don't want the impossible... I just want a chance for me and my family to live with dignity.
Today I'm not asking for a prosthetic limb⦠nor am I asking for diabetes treatment⦠I'm tired of asking for so much, and now I'm content with the most basic human rights⦠I just want a tent⦠a tent to shelter me and my child from the cold and exhaustion. I want some clothes for my little boy⦠to cover his body and make him feel like other children. My heart breaks every day when I see him in need⦠seeing him cold⦠seeing him deprived of the simplest things, and I stand helpless before him. I'm not asking for luxury⦠or a life of ease⦠I'm just a father⦠hurting⦠trying to protect his son in any way I can. If you can't help⦠don't forget us in your sincere prayers, because our pain is immense⦠and we have no one but God, and then your kind hearts.
gaza is suffering under severe dust storms and the +1M residents of the strip have nowhere to hide because of the occupation
dust storms are NOT normal for gaza's ecosystem. these are a product of israel's ecocide, which destroyed the natural environment that otherwise would have kept soil and debris erosion in check. trees, roots, crops, etc, which protected the land have all been bombed over the past two years. with nothing regulating erosion, gazans are left at the mercy of intense waves of polluted, asbestos filled and cancerous dust that get in their lungs and eyes and will cause diseases for generations to come
as always, the people suffering the most from this will be those who lack the funds to buy shelter and protection. with the renewed blockade after the start of the us/israel-iran war,
bridge of solidarity is fundraising to replace tents for people. they are an anticapitalist mutual aid org centered on the most marginalized gazansβblack people, lgbtq people, and those without the means to market themselves to the west
my friend siraj is also fundraising to protect his family during this time. he is ineligible for aid from a lot of these organizations because he has a fundraiser, but he still lacks the means to support his wife, children, and extended family. pls help him out too
Lebanon is still being bombed right now. Thousands of families are being displaced at this very moment. Please consider donating to this grassroot effort.
Lebanon is currently being carpet bombed by the Zionist state. We are back to our emergency response work and in dire need of funds. We are

Today, our dreams are in danger of stopping. Because of the extremely difficult situation we are living through in Gaza, it has become incredibly hard for us to pay our college fees and continue our education. After years of hard work and sacrifice, we are now afraid that everything we have worked for could be taken away from us.
My brother Ahmad is in his second year studying IT, and I'm Dr. Darine, a 5th-year medical student, and I have spent years studying with one dream in my heart to become a doctor and help people in need.
It is also about survival. We are a family of seven, and this campaign helps us cover our most basic needs, food, medicine, and daily essentials during a time when life has become extremely difficult for us.
Every day we try to stay strong and hold on to hope, but we canβt do this alone.
Your support means everything to us. A donation is not just financial help it is hope. It helps us continue our studies, care for our family, and believe that our future is still possible.
Dear friends at Gazavetters, please consider helping Dr. Darine and Ahmad continue their studies. After years of hard work, they are struggling to pay their college fees because of the difficult situation in Gaza. Your support can help them continue their education and support their family. Every share or donation means so much.
Please do what you can for Darine and Ahmed! They deserve to continue their studies despite the difficult situation that they and their family find themselves in.
Please donate if you are able, and share this post!
You have always stood by my side, and I will never forget your support. Today I am writing to you with a heart full of hope in you.
Eidππ« is approaching, and all I wish for is to be able to buy simple Eid clothes for my children so they can feel joy like other children, even if just for one day.
If you can help me with the cost of their Eid clothes, the prices are extremely high, and it would mean so much to their hearts and to mine. Your presence and support have always been a light in my hardest days.
I know you will not let me down. You have always been the reason for my strength. π€π

The Story of Alaa and Her Children:
Alaa, a mother of four, and her husband, a tai⦠Kate Didier needs your support for Help Alaa in
This image is shouting the truth that many try to ignore. Even from inside the United States, there are people raising their voices and asking clearly: why should anyone be asked to die for a war that is not theirs? Meanwhile in Gaza, innocent people are being killed, families are trapped, crossings are closed, and people are left between hunger and fear yet the world still treats our suffering like just another passing headline.
Here, we are not numbers in the news. We are living a slow death every day. Prices are unbearable, the crossings are closed, the sick cannot find treatment, and children go to sleep hungry and afraid. How many more images and cries does the world need before it understands that what is happening is neither justice nor humanity?
If you can still hear our voices, please do not just watch. Share our story, raise your voice with us, and help in any way you can. Your support and your sharing could be the reason someone survives and continues trying to live with dignity.
My father is sick, and he is fighting his illness inside a fragile tent under the cold, relentless rain in the Gaza Strip.
Every day, his condition gets worse. He urgently needs medical care, proper treatment, warm shelter, and proper nutrition. But instead of recovering, he is struggling just to survive.
The rain does not stop. The ground beneath us is soaked. Our clothes are wet. The cold surrounds us from every side. We have no real protection β only thin fabric between us and the harsh weather.
What makes this even more painful is that my father urgently needs eye surgery to save his vision. We need $3,500 for the operation before it is too late. Without this surgery, his condition could become permanent, and he may lose his sight.
I cannot describe how helpless it feels to watch him suffer like this, unable to give him the treatment he desperately needs.
Ramadan is supposed to be a time of mercy and peace. But for us, it is a time of fear and survival. We are simply trying to secure the most basic necessities:
Food. Medicine. Warmth. Safe shelter. And now, the urgent surgery that could save his vision.
Your support could save my fatherβs sight. Your kindness could save my family.
Please, if you can, donate.
If you cannot donate, please share our story.
Every share, every donation, every prayer gives us hope.
forming a routine. getting more sleep. showering more often. eating more than one meal a day. finishing an assignment on time. allowing yourself to take breaks when you need them. drinking more water. going outside more. spending more time socializing. not going to events that are draining. cleaning the dishes before they pile up.
some things seem like little steps that we barely acknowledge, but every one of them is a part of progress.
YES, YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT DISCORD'S AGE VERIFICATION
But while cancelling Nitro and boycotting Discord CAN be a form of protest, it sadly may not be effective on its own.
Why? Bc their hands are tied due to the recent trend in age verification bills worldwide.
All of the bad internet bills. One website.
This site helps send emails to your lawmakers to oppose certain Internet bills in the US, many of which would push age verification if passed
HOWEVER, calling your lawmakers on the phone is most effective.
If you're not in the US, you can still help by spreading the word.
The only way to prevent age verification (On Discord and ALL other social media platforms) is to prevent the bills that are forcing it. Look at the site for more info
Update, just to clear things up:
This is not a petition to stop Discord specifically.
This is to point out the root cause of age verification policies.
Discord is complying in advance, but if these bills pass, EVERY platform will have to make age verification features.
If these bills pass, Discord actually won't have a choice.
Protesting Discord's policies and preventing these bills are both important. We are saying "no" to Discord's complying in advance, while tackling the core of the situation.
