maybe it's because i've been falling in love with nan shepherd's «the living mountain» and i can't seem to be able to put it down. it's simply a gorgeous book. it actually makes me feel so inspired, but not exactly to sit down and study!

i woke up this morning to the creeping feeling that arrives when you’re coming down with something, so hot lemon water with honey is keeping my coffee company on my desk while i try to get work done today. the work list includes data entry, novel-writing, resume & cover letter work (it’s never-ending), and a bit of podcast drafting (also currently never-ending, but also significantly more fun than job application materials). it’s been a slow and quiet sunday, it’s dark outside and a little moody, and it’s suiting me just fine: my head’s a little hazy but i’m warm and i’m comfortable and it’s raining and i’m somewhat pleasantly resigned to the fact that being ill means i’ll get to take a nap later, likely to the sound of a storm

Almost done with my summer literature course. I’ve learned so much about current social problems in the world and especially in Latin America. As a IR student, through this course I’ve discovered I’m very interested in migration and human rights, I really hope I keep learning so that someday I actually do something for these people.

23.06.19 | I’m alive! Just getting used to summer lessons and getting organized for them as well. It’s gonna be a rough year to graduate but I changed classes and now I’m studying things I really enjoy. No more physics, yay!

(Also, don’t judge my calligraphy I’m learning😂)
