43rd Annual Juried Show Exhibition opening reception
Congratulations to Brennen Steines for winning Best in Show at the 43rd Annual Juried Show Exhibition!
Infinite Order
This solo exhibition presents the work of Keith Lemley. Lemley is known for his neon light installations that play with the idea of how we perceive the space around us. His work draws from a diverse range of sources including geometric theories underlying the order of the universe, rave culture, and the light and space movement of the 1960s.
For Infinite Order, the artist will transform the gallery by installing white LED tubes. The installation will use patterns and geometric structures of light to react to the existing architecture of the gallery and transform the viewer’s experience within the space. Please join us for this exciting exhibition!
The show runs until February 26.
This event is free and open to the public.
Please join us THIS THURSDAY at 7pm with exhibiting artists from Inspired: The Power of Art and Faith for an open discussion panel. This panel will be led by the Union Art Gallery and Better Together at UWM. Better Together at UWM is an interfaith student organization that works on campus to bring awareness to the various interfaith communities, shed stereotypes, and grasp a better understanding of traditions and beliefs, religious or non-religious. The gallery will be open before and after the panel for viewing. **FREE and open to the public!**
If you are a Milwaukee area college student looking to share your artwork or win some cash prizes, enter in our 42nd Annual Juried Show!
