Environmental showdown at the Camden opera house.
Pandora's Promise
This movie was very informative, the director used the style of direct facts, he supplied just the straight facts, and debunked multiple lies. His style was to just interview experts of the field. Ahh overall I am very excited about this film, I have not seen something done so well with so much information in a while.

A Will for the Woods
This was a very different type of movie. I had no clue that green burials were an option until now. This man had an amazing vision, he not only wanted to have this for himself, but he wanted to start a movement for the world. There were a few powerful scenes, one was simply the wake his wife had at their house. These were people that Clark had made connections with through the idea if the green burial. It wasn't so much the style of the scenes, but more of what happened in the film and the music that was played during scenes.

I had a hard time following this movie, after watching a few modern films and then this one. It had it's good points though. At the beginning of the film, the cameraman was down in the mines with the miners, a great way to show the conditions these men worked in. The miners were talking about their wages, about 8 cents an hour. I was very surprised about this even though it was in the 70s. This movie had lots of scenes where the cameraman was right there next to the miners on strike, even when they were being shot, that takes dedication.

Expedition To The End Of The World
This film was a great example of an expedition. People start off with a definite goal in mind, but after a while, it always goes to the abstract thoughts like the meaning of life. The director caught really great scenes of this with close ins of some of the scientists in the bunk rooms.
Big Men
This movie followed the line of a CEO for a small oil company that was looking for oil in Ghana, a country in Africa. It was interesting how the journalist filmed the militants that were destroying the pipelines, and how they thought they would be movie stars. One thing the journalist was good at was asking questions, instead of just showing the replies to her questions, she included them, and this added a layer. It helped to make the topic seem closer.
Just my luck
