The Sea Knows My Name
I came to the ocean with a heart made of glass, asking the waves how long broken things last. The sky wore my sorrow, the moon knew my pain, and the tide kept my secrets again and again.
I am a fragile soul in a body of stone, learning to smile while drowning alone. The world sees my laughter, my calm, my disguise, but the sea sees the storms hidden behind my eyes.
I carry my sadness like shells on the shore, collecting the pieces of who I was before. Some nights I am nothing but a whispering wave, a lost little heart that forgot how to be brave.
But the ocean reminds me, with every blue tide, even the deepest wounds can be softened inside. For the sea is not empty because it holds pain— it holds broken hearts, and teaches them rain.
“Some people will never fit into your life, no matter how much you want them to.”
