People on Discord seemed to like my Victoria headcanons so I'll post em here too. Most of these are about what a dork she is just fyi
-She reads books about WW2 and sailing and stuff (see the great room table in the queue) so I believe she's a European history dork.
-She's all about horror movies, her favorites are the 20s and 30s ones especially Universal for obvious reasons (the monster movies represented in Darkmoor don't exist in this canon, it's other stuff). She loves Twilight Zone and science documentaries, and Repo! The Genetic Opera. I have just named 99% of the only media she consumes.
-She went to college at age 15 canonically and did both med school and engineering at the same time before quitting bc nobody else was on her level so girlie has basically no social skills or experience. She talks the way she does because she picked up speech patterns from the old movies she watches over and over.
-As Bride points out, she doesn't go outside much, but she'd be happy as a clam at a history museum or antique mall.
-She has a dry sense of humor and doesn't joke much unless you're both doing complete deadpan in which case she'll joke with you a lot. She thinks Ygor is absolutely hilarious.
-She doesn't drink THAT often (she absolutely does drink but she's very careful not to let it get in the way of her work or looks, she's too vain for that) but she's the silliest drunk ever, which is why nobody but Ygor and Friend will ever see that version of her. Get her 3 whiskeys in and put her in front of a karaoke machine and she will go absolutely nuts on Bring Me To Life.
-This isn't based on anything in canon but I feel she has an adrenaline junkie thoosie inside her just waiting to be let out. You just have to convince her to leave the house and get her on a good roller coaster, and you'll ignite a fire inside that woman.
-She's an absolute know-it-all when it comes to medicine, monster biology, engineering and her other special interests like history. She never misses an opportunity to correct someone about those subjects or point out when a show or movie gets something wrong. She used to enjoy medical procedural shows but stopped watching them because "she always predicted the ending right away".
-She doesn't always want to be by herself, no matter how much she insists otherwise. Sometimes she just starts a conversation with "did you know that [niche medical science fact]" because she wants to talk to you but wasn't sure how else to do it. She's also perfectly happy to just sit in silence for long periods of time with someone she enjoys being around.
-She's so dramatic about random stuff. She'll unironically do some shit like being at dinner with someone annd leaning over her plate and going "I have brought you here for an important purpose".
-She prefers books and movies etc over being on her phone, but she uses a minimal amount of social media just to get a basic idea of what's going on in the world. She enjoys reading about new developments/discoveries in all different fields of science, even though she thinks the system of publishing papers on new discoveries is a waste of time and beneath her.
-Both she and Ygor are VEHEMENTLY against being referred to as Friend's parents in any way, but she loves her son creation a lot, and she is very kind and patient with him, if not a bit strict. She had a lot of weird feelings the first time he drew her a picture of the three of them.
-If you tell her that she looks just like her dad or that her mom would be proud of her, she will cry.
-If you call her crazy even as a joke she will be pissed. She gets enough of that from the village and from having gone to medical school while named Frankenstein.
-She has a massive sweet tooth. Her being friends with Penelope Toothsome proves this I feel.
-She is 100% without a doubt a cat person.
-Undiagnosed autism. In case that wasn't already clear.
