Tell Us Your Stories
Free storytelling workshops presented by resident theatre artists from Universal Limited Theatre
Storytelling is a primal activity, publicly popular in podcasts and live performance, but useful everywhere from job interviews to social gatherings. Universal Limited will lead a storytelling workshop where participants will gain confidence and experience learning storytelling with three professional theatre artists. Instructors will guide participants by helping to shape their personal experiences and narratives with exercises and fun shared activities. These activities will develop confidence and offer new insights, which will enable participants to perform their own work in front of others.
These workshops are ideal for teens and adults, but are open to all ages. Note: Universal Limited Theatre does have a special interest in stories about the history of Aberthau and the neighbourhood. Storytelling Workshop: Thursdays, 7pm-9pm, Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27

Tour is an actual tour of lesser-known parts of Granville Island, with a small audience riding on a pedicab. A magical and unlikely story unfolds alongside the history. The pedicab itself is far from ordinary, with hidden tricks and transformations.
This show might be of particular interest to you/people you know because of the unusual context, the fun ride, and even the excellent pedigree (Tour began in a shorter form as part of Hive at the Cultural Olympiad, co-produced by The Electric Company).
There are no advance ticket sales! Show up starting at 7.30 to reserve a seat for any performance.
The bike takes off approximately every half hour from 8-11 pm Sept 9-12 & 15-18
from 1399 Johnson st....in front of Emily Carr, right near the big grey dot.
We are thrilled to be sharing Tour, sponsored by The Electric Company, at Vancouver's most exciting festival of new theatre.
