I’m sure this has been posted before, but it bears repeating.

LQBTQIA+ people, please do not say things like “queer lives matter” or “LGBT lives matter” or any variation of Black Lives Matter. It’s not a slogan you can take as you please. It’s something that was paid for with the blood and tears of black people.

Granted, LGBTQIA issues are important, of course. We still face as much violence and prejudice as we ever did. But we don’t have to steal aspects of other causes to draw attention to our own.

Don’t do that.

I agree... Black Lives Matter is something more than a Slogan! We’ve been paying since 1619 in this Land! That when we were first dragged in chains to this land!! So think about and research things before you try and steal a concept.
