In one big city, there lived female dog named Zoe. She had everything her heart desired and didn't worry about a thing. Zoe had many friends: Vinnie the male gecko, Sunil the male mongoose, Minka the female monkey, Pepper the female skunk, Penny the female panda and Russell the male hedgehog. They often spent time together and got into interesting stories along with company of another animals – Orm the male skunk, Daisy the female mongoose, Dandy the male panda, Max the male monkey, Sally the female gecko, Lila the female hedgehog and King the male dog.
One day, Zoe invited her friends to listen to her new song and appreciate her efforts. Six guests sat on the sofa in the living room and began to listen. Zoe stood by the open balcony door and sang, oblivious to the noise from the street.
At the same time, brown-and-white female puppy named Roxie passed beneath the windows of the apartment building where Zoe lived. Hearing the singing, she perked up and pricked up her ears. Roxie looked up and realized the voice was coming from the window of apartment on the seventh floor.
"Sings quite well!" female puppy folded her front paws across her chest. "Pretending to be opera diva! Wanting to show off on the stage of big theater!"
After a brief silence, Roxie shuddered and scratched behind her ear - an idea had occurred to her.
"If this lady sings so well, she'll be very useful to me and my friends! She could make us a pop stars! That's great idea," female puppy decided, looking around. Then she saw laundry drying on a line.
"Just what I need!" Roxie grabbed the line and threw the laundry off it to the ground. She gave the line a good spin and tossed it upward.
As soon as the loop landed on the TV antenna, Roxie started to climb up the rope to the seventh floor.
"You sing great!" Minka praised Zoe's singing.
"I agree with Minka," Penny nodded at her singing friend. "Your new song could be a huge hit."
"And what's that on your balcony?" Sunil noticed something and pointed his paw at the window.
"What are you talking about?" diva dog looked around and saw something strange. "What kind of bindweed is that? It's thick as a rope, and it doesn't have a single leaf. Where did it come from? I tidied up the flowers long before the guests arrived."
Zoe took the scissors and, going out onto the balcony, cut the rope.
And then Roxie plummeted downwards at breakneck speed. She could have been killed from such a great fall, but she was fine. A police car drove by. Roxie landed on the roof of the car and drove away, shouting loudly for the whole street to hear:
"Well, just a waaaaaaait!!!"
"It would be great to present my song to an audience," Zoe said dreamily.
"Your stage appearance is still a while away," Pepper warned, glancing at the calendar hanging on the wall.
"So what should we do then?" asked female dog.
"We could perform it somewhere crowded," suggested Vinnie. "Like a mall or a beach."
"That's interesting idea about the beach!" smiled Minka. "We could hold our little concert on the shore of the forest lake. There are lots of vacationers there who would appreciate Zoe's song."
Wasting no time, seven adorable animals set off to gather the necessary things for their trip to the beach, where they would be holding a small show. Having gathered everything they needed, the seven headed to the bus stop and began waiting for the bus.
Meanwhile, Roxie was still trying to escape from police car, which was chasing her. Noticing a bus pulling up to the stop, female puppy picked up speed and ran on through the back door. It was the bus our seven animals were waiting for. They didn't notice Roxie, as they had entered through the middle door.
"Did you bring drinking water?" Zoe asked Russell.
"I did!" the hedgehog smiled.
"What about life jackets?"
"I brought the life jackets."
"What about sun umbrellas?"
"And I grabbed the umbrellas too."
"A familiar voice!" Roxie, hiding behind the passengers, turned her head toward the conversation and saw Zoe. "So that's who was singing that time. It would be nice to ask her to teach me some musical skills."
Soon, the bus stopped in the forest, and the seven got out.
"Here we are!" Pepper waved her paw at the sign that said "To the beach."
When seven animals had walked far enough from the bus stop, Roxie got off the bus and noticed a small shop nearby that rented fishing and hunting equipment. Brown-and-white female puppy smiled smugly and headed off to purchase the necessary arsenal.
A few later, Roxie walked along a sandy path toward the beach, singing "Surfin safari". In her back bag, she carried scuba gear and hunting rifle loaded with tranquilizer darts.
As she passed the fence, Roxie stopped. Her attention was drawn to a poster advertising some show featuring Zoe. She immediately recognized the beauty and picked up a brick lying nearby. Having drawn a target on the dog, the bully counted off ten steps and fired her gun. The dart landed right on Zoe.
"Heh-heh-heh! That's it!" Roxie rubbed her front paws and walked over to the poster to pick up the dart, but it wouldn't come out.
"It won't come out, the nasty thing!" brown-and-white puppy grabbed the dart with all her might and began pulling it toward herself.
Part of the fence broke and fell on the dog, and the group of resting animals were terrified to death at the sight of intruder. Roxie blinked and sighed, shaking her head:
"Well, Zoe, just you wait!"
A motorboat was moored near the shore, and Sunil, wearing captain's cap nad stripped red-and-white beach outfit, was sitting in it.
"When are we going to set sail?" Pepper in dark-blue beach outfit asked impatiently, sitting next to her friend.
"Don't rush!" mangoose placed a paw on her shoulder. "We're making final preparations for filming!"
Zoe in turquoise beach outfit sat on a wooden platform, her hind legs dangling, holding a rope in her forepaws, the other end of which was tied to the boat.
"How are things going?" she called out to Russell and the others standing nearby.
"I'm all set!" Russell in green t-hirt and dark glasses set up the video camera.
"The equipment works perfectly!" Vinnie dressed as DJ finished checking the music synthesizer. "Have you checked your speaker?"
"I checked it!" the dog adjusted the microphone attached to her ear. "We can begin!"
While friends were getting ready to film, they didn't notice Roxie sneaking up on the singer.
Sunil started the engine, and the boat pulled away.
"Let's go!" Pepper sang, and Russell began filming the scene.
Roxie carefully crept up to the dog and was about to grab her, but she didn't have time. The rope Zoe was holding tightened, and the singer raced across the lake on water skis. At that moment, Vinnie began playing a melody on the synthesizer.
"I didn't catch her..." muttered Roxie, watching the dog fly across the water, singing along to the music.
"Fantastic!" Russell whispered, filming Zoe.
Roxie hid behind large boulder and poked her head out. She took aim and fired her gun. The dart cut the rope and Zoe fell into the water.
"HOORAY!" Roxie, dressed in scuba gear, ran out from behind a boulder, jumped into the water and swam.
Sunil turned around and, seeing Zoe drowning, turned the boat back. Vinnie stopped playing music.
"Where are you going, captain?" Russell shouted, turning off the camera.
"Zoe's drowning! We have to save her!" mangoose replied, swimming toward the scene.
Pepper threw life preserver, and female dog put it on. Sunil extended his paw and lifted the victim aboard the motorboat.
Meanwhile, Roxie was swimming deep underwater and began to choke. It turned out that titmouse had landed on her snorkel. Brown-and-white female puppy coughed and emerged from the water, screaming loudly.
At that moment, a rescue boat approached, carrying Dima the male beaver and Socrate the male meerkat. They pulled the drowning dog out of the water and began performing artificial respiration.
Recovering, Roxie opened her eyes and saw a motorboat with three animals. She gritted her teeth and, with one kick of her hind paw, launched Dima into the water, and with another kick, sent Socrate in the same direction.
"What a person!" beaver said, poking his head out of the water.
"She didn't even say thank you!" his meerkat colleague exclaimed indignantly.
Roxie jumped behind the wheel of the boat and sped across the lake.
"Guys, look over there!" Pepper screamed, hearing the roar of motor.
Seeing brown-and-white puppy rushing toward them, Sunil grabbed the wheel of his motorboat and pulled away. Roxie raced past them and flew onto the shore, where she scared all the beachgoers and smashed a fence to pieces.
The boat sped along the road, cars barely managing to swerve to avoid the reckless driver. When Roxie crested a hill, the boat stopped and sped back in reverse until it ended up in the water again.
