October on the other hand. They visit Lance's family in the country. They stay for some time, because everyone keeps asking about Keith and Lance is fed up with it, so he serves his man on a silver platter to be dotted over. They celebrate Halloween and Keith's birthday, and it's loud and a lot, and kids are everywhere.

On their last night there Lance goes down on one knee and pulls out a ring and says - that honestly it wasn’t a proper engagement, there were no “will you marry me” or anything - and it breaks his heart Keith would think, he wouldn’t say yes, even after they’ve spoke about how the biggest issue is the damn fucking wedding- So he wanted to propose, fully, “will you marry me” kind of thing, “can I call you my fiancé”, “can I bully our friends by replacing your name with ‘my future husband’ in every sentence”.

Keith, after the first shock, says yes and keeps laughing - also noticing how their choice of rings made them look like wedding bands already.

Entire family celebrates with them, Keith even calls his mom and tells her - he proposed to me too. She is ecstatic.
