Rygdea unclasped the front doors of the Mistralton City hangar and swung the doors wide open. It had taken some time to prepare his new trainers and to grow accustomed to his new job as Leader, but he was finally ready to accept aspiring champions for battle.

Bartz gains a warm smile as he moves to unlock the museum’s doors. It was that time of year again, when trainers would be coming in for a badge. The youth felt a tad nervous, but couldn’t deny the sting of excitement.
The Opelucid City Gym is officially open! Be prepared to be blown away by the power and grandeur dragon pokemon! Easily the greatest pokemon type in the world! Trainers! This will be no easy fight so GO BIG OR GO HOME!"

Parents/Siblings: Riku is a loner, no family to speak of.
Childhood: Riku grew up under the care of his single mother after his dad ran out on them when he was young. She took care of him, but never wanted him to go out and be a pokemon trainer. For him, pokemon are friends, confidants, and best friends. While he never chose to journey out and become the best there ever was, he still captured pokemon with the intent to be known, well known as a trainer with his type of pokemon.
Occupational time: Riku moved from Cerulean City to Undella town to join the Elite Swimming Club, hopefully in order to advance to the National Relay Tournament. He's like a fish outta water, that guy, and he'll do anything to do everything underwater, even train his pokemon.

History
Parents/Siblings: All known family members deceased.
Childhood: Kefka's mother died giving birth to him, leaving him in the care of his father and their servants. His father died a few years later. Afterwards, he was sent to live with his uncle and aunt in the Sinnoh Region, both of whom were important members of Team Galactic. As such, he was raised within the organization. Most of his young life was spent focused on his education and future career within the ranks of the team.
Occupational time: When he was 19 he underwent a sort of 'poke-fusion' at Team Galactic's hand, resulting in that he could now wield Pokemon-esque powers himself. In the years that followed, he became quite successful within the organization, achieving a position second only to the organization's head, himself.
Tragically, the infusion process he'd undergone early in his life began to have bad side effects on him, including the loss of his very sanity. Despite this, he remained feared and respected within Team Galactic, developing quite a reputation for cruelty, violence and ruthless unpredictability even towards his own team members as time progressed.

Childhood: Up until his coming of age to start his pokemon journey he was brought up by his dad. In the two years of traveling with his houndour he got himself in some pretty bad situations and messed with the wrong sort of people. One thing lead to another and it wasn't long after that he became apart of Team Rocket stealing other trainers pokemon and such for his own personal gain.
Occupational time: Being apart of team rocket wasn't in the plan at all, but it became rather convenient for him. After all, stealing pokemon from trainers wasn't the hardest thing to do if you picked the right trainers...It also gave him time to do what he really loves. Ride his motorcycle from city to city. Rod typically spends all this extra cash he gets on either his own pokemons needs or on his motorcycle and tuning it up.

Parents/Siblings: Sora’s father left when he was still at a young age, while his mother is currently at home. He has no siblings and has not heard from his other relatives in years.
Childhood: Carefree and easy going! Minus the stress his father leaving brought him. Sora had a good group of friends that kept him grounded and he was always seen with a wide smile on his face.

However, should one of his Pokemon end up in a critical condition, he will likely forfeit the match (if he hadn’t already lost) instead of making them fight any longer. If the opposing trainer refuses to let him leave, he may force his way out.

Childhood: It was pretty quiet and calm while Daddy would be away. I spent most of my time reading books and taking care of our home...it was a little lonely, but don't tell Daddy that!

Childhood: Edgar was, for the most part, a flirtatious young lad with a passion for machines... And over the years, not much has changed.
Growing up in a fastly-developing city such as Goldenrod gave the young boy a keen interest in all kinds of technology, and the many advances being made in that field. It was no surprise, then, that Edgar aspired to be a master engineer, and could often be found shadowing fully-fledged machinists and tinkering with his own projects.
When he wasn't gawping at machinery, Edgar could be spotted skirt-chasing the girls passing through the bustling city. He doesn't realise it, but the lack of a female presence in his life has led him to become a little over-obsessed with the company of women. It's not unusual for Edgar to flirt with every lady that bats an eyelid in his general direction, which can often serve him well... Or cause him extreme embarrassment, depending on the situation. His pedigree as the son of a Champion naturally aided his lecherous ways, giving him something to brag about and impress the girls with.
The rest of his time was often spent looking out for his twin brother, who had always been sickly since birth. He'd felt incredibly responsible for Sabin's care from an early age - particularly when their Father was out of town.
Occupational time: Edgar hadn't always planned on even becoming a trainer, but he keeps at it to uphold his family name and make his Father proud. He hopes that - through testing trainers as a member of the Elite Four - he can somehow aid trainers on their journeys, and ensure that the next generation of trainers are prepared for the real challenges that lay ahead of them. He also likes to think himself as a protector of those who cannot protect themselves, and wants to help to shape the next generation of children into strong, caring and dependable trainers.
In his free time away from the League, Edgar eventually came to settle in Anville Town. His prior experience from his work on Goldenrod's Magnet Train meant that the town gained an extra mechanic - and a pretty enthusiastic one at that. When the blond isn't battling trainers and tinkering with the trains, he'll usually be found on the battle subway... Most likely on the Double Battle train with Sabin.

Style: Having traveled alongside his brother for much of his time, Edgar is extremely skilled at double battles and has come to prefer them over all others. He likes to go on the defensive during battles and makes sure that his opponents have to work damn hard at whittling away the HP of his team.
As far as the fights he picks... Edgar isn't one to jump headfirst into a battle. He'll give it good thought before deciding whether he should step in. He tends to pick worthwhile opponents only (as one would expect from an Elite Four/Former Champion), and is less hesitant to send out his team if the safety of others is jeopardized.

Inheritence: Despite his obvious love for all things engineering, much pressure was placed on Edgar to follow in his Father's footsteps and become a Champion. Not wanting to disappoint, he caved in to the wants of others and left his hometown, aged 10, to start his own journey and tackle the Gyms of Johto. His first partner was a Magnemite, given to him by his own father shortly before he began his adventure.
He soon discovered that his brother - who was still quite sickly - had taken a Pokemon of his own and followed after him. After initially warning Sabin to go home, Edgar reluctantly allowed his brother to join him on his trip. The two of them stormed through their region, conquering Gym after Gym alongside one another, and developing a passion for double battles.
Having tackled every Gym, the two boys moved on to the task of beating the Elite Four. Naturally the pair succeeded, moving on to face one final challenger, Johto's current Champion of the time: Stewart Remy Figaro. Again, the pair excelled in battle and defeated their toughest opponent yet - their own Father.
It was at that point that life began to slow for Edgar. At first, he traveled and attended to his duties as a Champion, but life crumbled apart soon after, when his father passed on far before his time.
Aged just seventeen, the boy was left utterly torn apart by the loss of the man that he loved and admired above all others... And when his dearest brother left the region to travel the rest of the world, Edgar no longer had a single clue about what he should do with himself. The Double Battles that he enjoyed so much came to an end, as did the company of both his father and brother, and it suddenly hit him that he was very much alone in the world.
Edgar soon returned to Goldenrod and drowned himself in childhood memories, unable to pick himself out of his grief for a good few months. He did eventually manage to move on somewhat, falling back on his first love of engineering in order to get by.
In the years that followed, Edgar worked on massively upgrading the equipment in Goldenrod's Radio Tower, and eventually progressed onto doing regular servicing on the local Magnet Train. His machines offered an excellent distraction from his loneliness, and he hoped that it would help the years pass quicker as he waited for Sabin's return.
It would be a full ten years before he heard from his twin in the form of a letter - an invitation, to be exact. He'd been invited to join his brother in the foreign region of Unova, where the both of them had the opportunity - as Champions of their own region - to apply for the chance to serve as two of the Elite Four. Keen to reunite with the only close family he had left, Edgar traveled out to Unova with his team, even picking up some new additions on the way.
The two brothers soon began making up for lost time after their ten-year separation, challenging Unova's best and brightest trainers alongside one another.

Childhood: Though both her parents died when she was very young, she was still well taken care of by the community in Blackthorn City, and she in return used her special ability to communicate with pokemon to help the community to better understand the needs of their pokemon when the need arose. One night when she was 7, however, Terra was spirited away by Team Galactic. She spent the rest of her childhood undergoing experiments in the production of a device that would allow for total control over many pokemon. She also spent a lot of time with another subject of Galactic’s experiments—Kefka—though the relationship wasn't exactly a happy one.
Cinna has been with her for as long as she can remember, a gift from her parents, and she befriended Cosmog after he wandered into town from the mountains. Quetzal, she met while traveling with Kefka around Floccesy Town around 7 years ago. Elia and Mogwin were gifts from Kefka 3 and 1 year back, respectively, with Elia being caught in the Dragon’s Den in Blackthorn City. Luca is the newest addition, having been with her less than a year. With the progress the pokemon control device, she’s not been allowed to leave Castelia, or even the headquarters, very often, but Luca she found by the docks, having gotten itself trapped on a cargo ship from another region, barely big enough to even carry his mother’s skull.

Style: Terra does not like to battle and because of the circumstances of her life, hasn’t really had much experience in doing so (though she did give her pokemon extra exercise in secret). However, if a dangerous situation forces her to battle, she will either escape atop her fastest pokemon or rely heavily on ranged attacks. She lacks the strategizing skills more practiced trainers have and will attempt to win through brute force.
Childhood: her parents work far in Sinnoh since she was a little girl, and she has always lived with her parents' friend, Elmyra, who took care of her while they were away.
Occupational time: She loves flowers and Pokemon, and likes to take care of both plants and pokemon, so she decided she wanted to become a breeder and the best way to do so was to have her journey and learn as much as she can about Pokemon.

Her fitted chartreuse collared shirt is tucked into loosely fitting harem pants, which reflect the warm island atmosphere in Humilau. While working at the shop, she wears a pink apron with her shop’s logo on the front panel.
History
Parents/Siblings: Orphan, very close companionship with Gadot.
Childhood: Lebreau and Gadot were raised at an orphanage in Cianwood City and spent their formidable years together. While Gadot worked around the boarding house on repairs and construction projects, Lebreau enjoyed helping in the kitchen and found she had a flair for baking. As the aging owners of the orphanage reached retirement, Lebreau and Gadot left their hometown in pursuit of their dreams. The two settled in Unova, in the seaside city of Humilau, and sent their former headmasters letters of their achievements along the way.
Occupational time: During Lebreau and Gadot’s journey to Unova, Lebreau spent time in Hearthome City, in the Sinnoh region, studying the skilled poffin makers and their craft. She quickly became fascinated by the power of these poké-confections. Unfortunately, as the pair neared Unova, she soon discovered how berries had become a rarity in that region. She soon met a Panpour who had a hidden ability that allowed him to sense where hidden berries were located, Pick-Up! Delighted with his rare talent, Lebreau and Panpour became an unbeatable Poffin pair and she was able to open a Poffin Café of her own. His rare ability became the target of a dastardly crew of Pokemon trainers who sought to steal him and covet the berries he could find to be sold on the black market. Lebreau was left without a team of her own, but Gadot came to her rescue and defended her shop from the threat. She is forever indebted to his courage and is determined to build a team worthy of protecting Gadot the way he protected her.
