“Oh- did no one tell you that yet?” Kay asked, again, seemingly just existing there without you noticing before

No? First I heard about it. Seems like everyone is coming back from the dead nowadays [he says casually, as if the conversation partner didnt literally appear out of nowhere]

“He followed eve’s dad out of the underworld, but I didn’t tell you that.” Kay shrugged as she said this, “—Also he should grow a pair. He was intimidated by me. Imagine being intimidated by a white woman or at least white looking woman in a the dye shirt.”

I mean we're you dripping goop at the time? [Will asks, weighing it] you could probably do some pretty spooky stuff with that. Im sure theres a cosplay out there you'd kill.

[He says before fully processing this.] Right so they just walked out of... punishment? Asphodel? And people can do that now. Wonderful. Next up is father time himself i guess

“Oh, nah, I just showed up randomly- also that- I’ve got no clue. Not sure Lucas is really that human. I mean- humans are not able to usually physically make contact with spirits and shit- their family is weird.” Kay shrugged at that- because holy shit the Jordans REALLY are weird

Maybe a legacy? [He says before remembering eve is Greek. But then again its not really unprecedented to have multiple pantheon in one family] or some residue from nyx? Magically, not physically [he elaborates]

“I think Lucas is roman- but someone tried to attack him with a blade and it didn’t work. I’m not gonna lie, I think half of eve’s weirdness came from that dude. I once saw him climbing into a window of the palace. Do you know how high up that stuff is??”

Yeah, I really need to meet this guy. Everything ive heard about this guy is off the rocker. [He says before pausing and reconsidering] that or I need to stay far far away, but im probably not gonna do that.

“You should see the rumors going round Roman areas about him- it’s a riot. He’s a big sweetheart, but kinda digging yourself out of the underworld as an alive man, marrying Commodus, etcetera.. sorta adds to a portfolio, ya know?”

[Will nods along and then adds in own two cents] not to mention letting octavion out, and making apparently making commodus and i guess other gods fold like a lawn chair [he adds the two things he'd managed to hear on his own as well]

“I don’t think he meant either of those things- but it’s kinda funny they happened. I won’t lie it’s hilarious what happened- in fact I think right now some people are trying to urge him to ask Erebus out or something.” The demigod snickered softly, oh good gods it was amusing to watch

[Will sighs] why would anyone want to date- [will pauses, realizing that three of the people he dislikes most are apparently romantically entangled with this guy to some degree so actually] no that makes sense. Some people have bad taste. Like really bad atrocious taste in romantic partners

“They’re smitten for him, that’s why- are the gods all assholes? Yep. Do they act like it around him? N o p e . I mean Erebus is surprisingly chill from what I’ve seen- unlike Phanes, they’re a little bitchy to mortals- you’d be surprised, actually, Nyx is becoming.. decent? Eh, not my place to judge.”

I mean not all the gods. [Will says a bit defensively. Neglectful and egotistical sure m, but outright assholes? Seemed like a bit of a stretch for him] just yknow. Certain ones that take every bad thought you had and bad thing that happened to you and turn it into a physical creature that other people can see [will says, as if its not literally an event that he witnessed]

“Oh come on, everyone can do that.” Kay said with a huff, as if she literally thought everyone could do that. She just crossed her legs, “Nyx got so emotional she cried the other day when Eve called her mama.. kinda amusing how just a couple people can make a god whistle a different tune.”

... no they can't. [Will says, making intense eye contact in this moment as he presses his palms together, his hands clasped in front of him] you know thay right? Tell me you that isnt a normal thing for people to do.

“…OH YEAH SHIT- forgot about that…. The goobers are just so silly”

[Will's face scrunches a bit as he really doesnt know how to respond to that] the goobers though. They're your own cocoa- cacodemons right? Not someone elses?

“..fuck if I know, man. Half the time I just exist and something follows me back- it’s like I’m a chaos magnet.”

[Will pauses before sighing] yeah sure. Thats another thing thats apparently true now. Not the worst or weirdest thing thats happened.

“Honestly this doesn’t seem that weird to me- at least it’s not like being a kid in the underworld and being picked up by the scruff while you get your full legal name stayed to you-“ she made a flat hand gesture and looked to Will, “-look, it’s not my fault I can get past the underworld tsa easily.”

Less weird and more- [will doesnt finish that thought, instead switching tracks] is that something that actually happened to you?

“…Which thing? Regardless, yes.”

All of it? I kind of assumed this was all one event [will explains, trying to wrap his head around it] and i thought Cthonic kids were fine goin into the underworld nowadays?

“…By tsa I mean I was mistakenly sucked into the line of souls and I had to wait to get bailed out. Hermes is getting sloppy, I tell you- also I’m not a Cthonic kid.”

Huh?? [Will stares at them like they've grown a second head] then why were you in the underworld???

“…Because why not??”

Because it- [will pauses before sighing] yeah why not. I guess because its hard to get to?

“..Not really, if you know the right way to go.”

Its in California [will says skeptically, because a cross country trip is hard enough on its own]

“Oh shit, it is?? I just kinda like- go there. For example, following shades- that makes it easy.”

[Will points at them] ah, but most people cant see shades. Difficult. Wait, why can you see them if youre not cthonic?

Well, at this point, I’m just spewing random shit to him, she just leaned back and blankly said, “Bitch I’m not even a demigod, I dunno how I got into this AT ALL.”

[Will pauses, heading to a window and glancing out at Thalia's tree, which yep is still standing there] then how are you even in camp? What?

“…wow, so, you’re not gonna question the odd melting-ish thing or any of that, and you’re gonna question how I got to camp instead? …Fair. I just sorta wandered in one day, pure accident- then everyone said I was a demigod and I just sorta felt too awkward to correct them.”

I already questioned the melting thing. I spent days questioning the melting thing and the bone feeding and the melting thing again. [Will explains] and i found out that they just dont have answers, so im asking a question that might. Thank you. Maybe youre cursed?

“..How the fuck would I know if I’m cursed or not?? If I am cursed, though, it might be because of all the stupid shit I do- like- being a child and making dark spaces for the shades in my room because I felt like light hurt them, in my stupid child reasoning, so I’d make dark spaces for them when I turn on the lights.”

[Will pauses because when he heard stupid thing he though it was going to be like drinking bleach or picking fights with gods, but that-] thats actually kind of adorable [he says, trying not to let too much amusement creep into his smile]

“Sshhhh no it’s not, it was fucking stupid-“

No it was sweet [will says, they restraints on his face slowly starting to slip from his grasp]

[Will swings open the door to the Apollo cabin, a relatively small bow in his hand, looking around, holding a hand to his mouth to amplify his voice a bit] hey Michael, you in here? [Will calls out, starting towards his bunk]

[Michael was on his bunk, loafed up with his wings curled around him. He was still very much a cat with wings now. Surprisingly he wasn't freaked out, but giving everything else going on he decided this might as well happen as well.]

Mrr? [Michael perked up when he heard the door open. He couldn't tell if he should be embarrassed of being seen like this or thankful he was found at least. Probably both.]

[Will's eyes land fairly easily on the loafed creature on Michaels bed and, having just recently been freed from the shackles of cheetah form, figures the situation out pretty quickly] damn they got you too?

Mrrow. [Michael fluttered his wings, great. This was a common thing. Not a boring day at this camp.]

[Will sniffles faintly as he moves to sit on the floor by Michael's bunk, laying the bow over Michael's pillow] brought you your old bow though. Usually these things wear off in a day or so

[Michael flops his head down,letting out a small huff. His tail flicked back and forth as he fluffed up his feathers.]

Mrrr..[He made a soft rumbling meow as Will sat on the floor by him.]

Yeah. Not fun not being able to talk or do anything [he says, holding a hand out by Michael's head, though not actually touching, waiting for him to lean into it]

[Michael was quick to lean into Will's hand, he hadn't even really thought about it before doing so. A quiet just hardly audible purr rumbled in his chest.]

[Will smiles, gad its so easy to make him apparently happy like this as he starts to pet his head] i can try and get Lou Ellen to turn you back sooner if you want, but I kind of dont want to step into that cabin for a bit

[Michael tried to stifle the purr growing louder from him, to no avail. Though he gave an almost amused sound. He didn't blame Will for that, why anyone seemed to think it would be funny to turn one the few healers at camp into an animal, Michael wasn't sure. Someone certainly must be bored.]

[Will watches for a couple more seconds of getting no response before chuckling, more an exhale than a laugh] either thats a no or you have no idea what im [will pauses, fighting off a sneeze for a moment before continuing] no clue what im saying

Mrow. [He flicked his tail, not exactly sure how to respond clearly in this situation. He made the most of it.]

[Will shakes his head] too bad youre not all raven or i might actually know what you were saying [he says, running his hand down the cat-raven's back] gotta say though im surprised you're not in the rafters or something

Mrrr. [Michael was again unable the stifle a purr, if it was anyone else he probably would had an easier time but he didn't feel as upset about it when it came to his brother.]

[He fluttered his wings, before stretching out and started to knead.]

[Will rubs at his eyes with his other hand as they start itching] the perfect form for perching and youre down here [he muses to himself, shifting to scratch behind on of Michael's ears.] Dont know how long this'll last yknow.

[Michael made a small huff, leaning into the scratching before stepping back and flapping his wings, he hardly was in the air long before falling back on his face. He was not use to the wings.]

Mrow. [His tail flicked back in forth as he looked at Will with a "see?" expression.]

So you do understand me then [will says, voice coming out a liytle congested now from being around the cat for this long. Regardless though this is his brother so he leans down and offers his shoulders as a perch, absolutely not knowledgeable enough about cats to brace for claws]

[Michael tilted his head, noticed the change in voice. He examines Will for a moment before jumping into his shoulder and butting his head against Will's.]

Mrrr. [He purrs softly.]

[Will winces a little at the claws.] Ah- yep, I underestimated how sharp those were. [He says, reaching a hand up and back a bit steady Michael as he stands, not sure where his end goal is with this]

[Once Michael was fully steady, he curled a wing around Will's head the best he could and started attempting to groom him.]

[Will gets a half amused and half confused grin on his face as he fails to side eye Michael] what are you doing? [He keeps his raised hand against the cat's shoulder though, head turning to try and read the feline expression]

Mrrp.[Michael gave a frustrated sound as he placed a paw on Will when he turned his head, trying to get a good angle why he continued to groom through Will's hair. His tail flicked back and forth in intent.]

Right, head forward [will says, confusion unabated but he goes with it, only to freeze as another sneeze starts rising, sitting on Michael's bunk so if the cat falls its not onto the floor]

[Michael started to purr again, before finally being content that Will was groomed enough and getting situated on his shoulder,nuzzling him.]

[Two sneezes later will groans] im glad youre enjoying this bud [he says with a faint laugh. He really had no idea whats going through Michael's head right now but the purring has to be a good sigh, scratching at the back of the cat-raven's neck. It kind of vaguely reminds him of his mom's dog]

[Michael jumped at the sneezes, getting down beside Will and looking up at him. He leaned into the scratching for a moment before using a paw to push Will's hand away, narrowing his eyes at his brother. He seemed to be studying him.]

[Will sniffles, lowering his arm from where it'd covered his nose, his eyes a little red as he pulls his hand away, looking confused] what? Had enough of the pets? [He wondered if the curse included giving Michael the cat temperament hed heard about and for a moment considered being more caution in can Michael decided to scratch him on a whim before figuring that wouldnt happen most likely]

[Michael tilted his head as he sat back, pawing at his own nose, before pawing in the air towards Will like he was pointing.]

Mrrr?

[Will takes a second to understand whats being communicated before waving it off] nah, just allergies [he raises a palm to rub at one of his eyes while his other hand extends in offering, not going to pet him if Michael doesnt want him to but] its not every day I see my brother as a bird-cat though. Its worth it

Mmrow. [Michael's tail flicked back and forth. He studied Will, very clearly upset about him not taking care of himself. Though after a moment he butted his head against Will's hand before loafing up against him. Though still looking grumpy about it.]

Lighten up a little [will says, running his hand back down Michael's back again, scratching with his fingers as he went] no wonder you cant fly

Mrrr[He stuck out his tongue at Will before leaning his back up into the scratching. He tried to stifle back a purr to no avail.

He situated himself close to Will again, his head on Will's leg.]

[Theres another sniffle that does absolutely nothing as will shakes his head] nope. I dont speak cat [will says, hand moving to pet at the back of Michael's neck]

[Michael purred softly, staying close to Will. His tail flicked back and forth and he began to knead on the bunk.]

Mrrrr.

[Will is fully breathing through his mouth now, but he'll be damned if hes missing this once in a lifetime opportunity] times like this is wish I had a camera

[Michael stuck his tongue out again,which just looked like he was bleping.]

Mrow! [He fussed at him again. Did their whole cabin have no self preservation skills? Or were they all just that stubborn?]

Dont worry dont worry. I wouldnt show anyone [will says, incorrectly interpreting the fussing as a protesting, blinking hard against the itchiness of his eyes as he sneezes once again into his elbow, lifting his hand from its scritching so he doesnt accidently squish Michael a bit] only Archer. Maybe Sunny.

Mrow! [He sat up, glaring up at Will.] Mrro! [He fussed, his tail going back and forth. Gods, this could not be worth making himself suffer, surely? Was seeing Michael like this really that amusing?]

Oh but youre so adorable like this [he coos, absolutely disconnected from his previously statements and absolutely more familiar with dog mannerisms than cat ones and not catching onto the tail movements as he places his hands on either side of Michael's head]

Mrow-? [He squeaked in confusion, his stopped as he tried to process before fussing again, placing his paws in Will's hands. His wings fluttered.] Mrrrr.

[And will is unfortunately forced quickly to release the small cat head from his hands as he muffled a sneeze into his elbow twice more, rubbing his eyes with the back of his wrist afterwards] thats fine.

Mrow! [Michael fussed again, sitting down and glaring at Will.] Mrrrowr!

Wow for such tiny guy youre so loud [will wheezes a little before realizing that could technically also apply to human michael, leaning down] what do you want buddy?

Mrow! [He bapped at Will's head,not hard of course,fussing at him more, he definitely was gonna give him a full lecture when he was back to normal.]

[Will sniffles ineffectually as he recoils] try and make a bird sound? [he suggests, not sure if thats something hes capable of, but Will can understand birds to an extent, even though theyre usually just vague convoluted assholes.]

[Michael blinked, seeming to think for a moment before sitting up on his hind legs, fluffing out his wings and tilting his head up to make raven like kraa sounds]

You're going give yourself a asthma attack if you keep around me like this. [He gave an frustrated kraa.] Seeing me like this surely not worth more than your health!

[Will tries to sniffles a laugh at the posture Michael takes to make the sound, rubbing at an eye again as he shakes his head] ill start suffocating. That doesnt automatically mean its an asthma attack [he rolls his uncovered eye, reaching to pet michael once more]

[there is a knock at the infirmary door]

[Will is immediately alert, momentarily forgetting his guise of not being able to understand italian as he makes a beeline for the door, leaving the sink running and the bloodied tools dropped in there]

I...have a problem...

[Will opens the door, taking in Nico's condition and scanning first for any visible injuries] yeah? A deadly problem or a bit less of an extreme? [He gets out of the way first, his posture mostly casual in contrast to the worry he feels]

[I walk in and sit on the nearest, cleanest bed available] Not anything deadly..[I pick up on the sound of water running] I think you left the sink on...

[Will waves a hand towards the sink and says] there. Now its off [which is blatantly untrue, placing his hands on the end of the mattress and leaning over] and "not deadly" doesnt mean anything from you. Youre like the worlds most adorable cockroach

Am not! [I clearly appear miffed about being called a cockroach]

Okay, okay, fine. I...need help because I'm having repeated nightmares of things ...and it's become physiological now. I wake up with cold sweats. That is if I can sleep... And, my appetite plummets. I feel like my heart rate does the exact opposite of my appetite. I can't concentrate on my training because I haven't rested enough and I'm hypervigilant as hell..Is... something wrong with me ..?

Even new demigods freak out over nightmares and they havent dealt with half as much. You want to sleep here tonight though? I can make sure nothing too bad happens. I'm not exactly infirm. What if another camper shows up, with, like I don't know, a stray arrow in the shoulder? That's way more important than me being paranoid.. Wait...too bad? Like what..?

Its spring, angel [will says rolling his eyes and pulling him against his side to one-armed squeeze him for just a moment before releasing him] only a fraction of the campers are even here. We have enough space to deal with a bad capture the flag during the summer months. One bed being used isnt going to leave a dent

[He explains before shrugging] whatever too bad you could come up with is probably worse than mine.

Spring. Right. It's summer that's usually the busiest...[I pause, trying to hide a cough] Love...? I physically can't eat or sleep much.. I should probably say that I haven't yet for two days.. but, don't worry about it. I'm fine.

Haven't eaten or havent-? [will cuts himself off before nodding] right both. [He reaches into a pocket and pulls out a Kit-Kat, holding it out to Nico] this is cockroach behavior by the way, ill have you know

[I look at the Kit-Kat, then quickly wave it away] I don't want you to worry... I'll be perfectly fine. And how in the name of the gods is this acting like a cockroach? I once survived on pomegranate seeds.

Exactly. Sometimes it feels like you can survive anything. [He lightly tosses the kitkat on Nico's lap anyways] and we've been over this. Im going to worry [he holds up a hand, opening and closing it to mock his own voice] youre my boyfriend, im a healer, its my job, I worry about everything, ill never stop. [He lowers it before levelling] eating the kitkat would help though

Little white poplar in the Apollo cabin that sometimes turns into a heron? [Will says, surprised it hadn't been noticed, though being able to talk to some bird may have contributed to will's annoyance with it. In hindsight he probably should have asked Sunny to take care of it] he's roman.

I found him in central park. [Will says as if he hadn't dedicated a whole day to chasing the thing down] he can heal the sick if its not fatal

“ohhhh, wait central park? Why were you al the way over there?”

Because I was chasing the bird [will explains, like it should be obvious]

Sunny squints suspiciously

[Will ignores this and explains] alright so heres the thing. If it looks at you and like stares at you it can take the sickness into itself and then it flies off and the sun burns the sickness away healing both the bird and the person it looked at. So I thought maybe- yknow. Also if he turns away from you it means the sickness with kill you. His names Caladrius by the way.

“…im both tempted and scared to interact with him”

I mean we already know it wont kill you [will says, shrugging]

“Yea, that’s true”

Soo.... [will pauses, tilting his head] worth a shot?

“I don’t think anything would happen as nerve damage is a physical state not an illness but sure, i’ll try it”

Yeah. [Will deflates a bit] might not be worth it then since we have to release him to see if it works. And im sure his feathers or something have like actual healing properties. Might be better to wait til hes shed a bit more

“Will, you don’t have to find something to fix it, i’ll just learn to deal with it”

[Will pulls back and shakes his head with a smirk] hey, what kind of healer would I be if I couldn't heal my own sister? Ill find a way

[Will shows up, knocking on the poseidon cabin, waiting for Percy to open the door, faint bags under his eyes though thats pretty normal for Will, and his bags considerably emptier than they normally are]

[percy opens the door, one shoe half tied, smiling at will, a mostly empty backpack hanging off one shoulder] hey, man

Nope [will shakes his head unconvincingly] not a thing, not a word [he adds too much elaboration as he usually does when lying] best guess she hates me

[Will chuckles a little, having been under no impression his lies would work, they rarely did if they weren't for reassurance or the sake of looking calm] probably because it isnt

[percy laughs, looking at him] so, wanna try that again? why does she keep putting out hits on you?

[Willrolls his eyes, though theres no actually annoyance behind it] because I can do my job as a cheetah, or a cat, or a goat, or a bowl of soup.

[percy raises an eyebrow] so she’s trying to get you to… take breaks? am i understanding that right?

Trying to get people killed more like [he shakes his head, clearly disapproving of her methods. And there is genuine irritation there, as fond as he is of her.]

[percy gives him a look] you’re not the only person who works in the infirmary, you know that right? you’re really damn good at what you do, but you do have help.

Yeah, but people tend to seek me out specifically when they get there or when im out and about. Which, by the way, is actually a good thing, because it feeds my ego. [He glances away from the ego now to smirk up at percy as he feels the other's eyes on him]

[he laughs a little] no, listen, you’re incredibly good at what you do, you know that and i know that, but you’re allowed to delegate. you should, actually. it not only helps the other kids learn the ropes a little, but also, you get a break. which is important. [he gives him a pointed look] and also, for the record, is the exact advice you’d give other people.

I do delegate [will says, holding up a hand as he actually has a valid defense] Kiara takes most nights, with Reese taking a couple here and there and Sunny and Archer used to rotate but Archer's been taking over a couple more of her shift more recently. Jerry Gracie and Yan are free to join whenever they want, but theyre young enough im not giving them actual shifts. Austin and Kayla and Nico volunteer fairly often and ive been considering trying to teach Blair but thats complicated. And also- uh, one other guy [Will lays it out, not ever mentioning an actual shift of his own as hes mostly just usually there.]

(Ooc note: to any ocs or characters mentioned in this with different ideas of what their characters would be up to there hmu im endlessly curious)

and are any of these people ever working when you’re not? [percy gives will a look] because it’s not delegating if you’re still doing the work. just for the record. [percy hums and checks the route map] how is nico, by the way?

Yeah of course [will says, taking this statement literally] ive got other stuff to do and ive been working on trying to find ways to reverse nerve damage anyway so I haven't been working as much as I should recently [he takes his eyes then off the window as he lights up a little] he doing good actually! Or- a lot better actually. Especially without any prophecies breathing down his neck [he has a feeling Percy could relate with that last bit]

[percy smiles, nodding] i definitely understand how that is. life gets a lot better when there’s no life-altering-possibly-life-ending prophecies hanging over you like- oh, fuck, what’s that story- [he snaps his fingers] the sword of damocles! like that. anyway. i’m glad he’s good. it’s been a minute. [he looks at will again] i’m sure you’re doing plenty of work, by the way. you could probably use a break every once in a while. just my two cents.

Sword of damocles [will nods, absolutely no recognition in his eyes at the name] sounds like the kind of guy who'd try to kill us [he says, purely on the basis that it sounds Greek. But hey, hes never been a mythology buff. Nico could probably recite it with extra background or something impressive like that] You know, Nico is in camp right now. If you ever wanted to hang out [he points out, a thumb jutting back the way they came] and this is my break.

[percy looks at him] okay, i’ll give you that. this is a break. but you still should be easier on yourself. [he shakes his head, before shrugging] i might try to get nico to hang out with me for a bit, we’ll see. [he laughs] i can’t remember the last time he and i hung out without there being a world-ending event on the horizon [he hums again] i can’t remember exactly what annabeth said about damocles, but the whole thing was that he- or someone? i can’t remember if it was him- hung a sword over a throne that would fall on the head of whoever sat on it or something [his brow furrows, he’s trying to remember the story better]

[Will shoots percy with a quick dinger gun before returning his attention to the window] yeah, of course. Who knows, maybe peace will give you two a whole different dynamic [will's own brow furrows as he tries to recall if hes ever heard anything similar. He hasnt.] Geez. I sure hope he isnt immortal now. [He says before reconsidering] Unless hes still in the habit of killing monarchs

[percy hums, thinking about it] yeah, maybe. i guess i never considered how much of our dynamic would’ve been impacted by the whole constantly-racing-to-save-the-world thing…. [he hums] i honestly have no idea if damocles is immortal now. but, if he’s still killing monarchs…. maybe it’s not so bad. [he laughs softly] if that was what he did in the first place. i don’t know the story as well as annabeth does

Yeah, crazy what a little bit of fear for your life will do. Which youve probably had the whole time youve been at camp [will says before looking back at him as a realization occurs] have you ever really had the chance to just be a normal camper for the year?

[Will laughs a bit too and jokingly laments] oh no we left both the mythology nerds back at camp, we're doomed

[Will, hands still covered in grease from getting the hellhound tooth for Sunny, pauses as hes walking along the East River, seeing a body in orange by the bank of it. Having just encountered Peter fighting massive bull and being perhaps a bit paranoid right now, he decides investigate, calling from afar] "hey, are you good?" [He yells out to the potentially unconscious figure]

[Michael broke into a coughing fit as he stirred, coughing out some dirty river water before falling back against the bank.]

Wha-? [He's voice is raspy as he barely was able to respond. Putting his arm over his face and groaning.]

I think I just doomed myself [will laments, passing the first couple cabins] anything looking familiar yet?

[Michael frowned, looking around.] Kind of...? It feels familiar, but can't quite place any memories to it. Like having a word on the tip of your tongue...[He looked back at Will.] Like the rest of me remembers but it won't tell me head.

Damn. I do not envy you [will whistles lowly, point at the apollo cabin as they cross the center clearing] and it looks like its only going to get worse

Great. [He said sarcastically.] Guess just gotta get use to it.

[Will laughs, swinging open the the door and holding it for him] pretty much

[He sighed, before going into the cabin. He looked around, taking a steady breath. A mixed of emotions overwhelmed him.]

[Will closes the door behind him, thanking whoever is watching that the cabin is mostly empty, or at least empty of people who would recognize Michael and maybe be less in denial than he was. He just stands back and gives him a second, entertaining the image for a moment of Michael in the cabin, as though hed never even left.]

[Michael looked around at the bunks,despite not remembering hardly a thing he immediately had a sense of feeling at home.]

Oh yeah. Definitely got worse... [He mumbled, stepping further into the cabin. Each step felt like one he's taken plenty times before.]

[Will laughs at the predictable response] wanna take a bit over here before I show you your actual bunk? [He offers, leaning against the wall]

I-[Michael looked around, his body wanting to pull every which way.] No. No think I'll be fine.[He snorted, trying not to show how overwhelmed he was. His mind buzzing.]

Give me a bit more time then? [He rephrases it, watching the way Michael took everything in and figuring that would get him to care more.]

[Michael nodded.] Of course.

[He glanced around, his head spinning. Everything felt so familiar. First time since he woke up that he felt certain of where he should be in any regard. He moved to fiddled with his locket, taking a steady breath.]

[Wills hand mirrors Michael's with a faint frown, trying to figure out how to get him memories back, selfishly, but he'll tell himself its to help Michael. To figure out how this happened, so far hes figured its either something wrong in the underworld, or something with a time ability of Kronos's]

[Michael looked around at the bunks, names flickered in his head for just a moment before they were gone just as fast. He started quietly tapping his foot in the beat of a familiar rhythm,not even really noticing it.]

[Will catches the tapping though and smiles. He doesnt bring it up though, not wanting it to stop. Instead he just gives Michael as much time as he needs, still trying and struggling to wrap his own head around it. Around him even being back, much less how to feel about it. Which barely touched the memory thing]

[Michael gazed over each corner. Each notch I'm the wood,each scuff on the floor. It all was home to him, that all he was certain of at least. Since when he didn't remember. But it was safe. It was home.]

[How long had it been since he been home?]

[The longer Will thought about it the more he convinced himself this couldn't be a good thing. When things like this happened it was usually the meddling of the gods. And Will had never seen that end well before. He wouldnt let anything happen to Michael this time though. This time he would d something.]

[Michael looked back to Will before frowning slightly.]

What's wrong? [He asked, studying Will carefully.]

[Yeah, older brother instinct definitely hadn't left him.]

[Will shakes his head, laughing a bit as hes startled out of his train of thought] guess that means its bunk time? [He asks as Michael focuses on something other than the surroundings that he imagines are giving him the world's worst case of Deja Vu, already pushing off the wall to head that way]

[Michael frowned, still studying Will for a moment longer before sighing and following behind him.]

Guess so.

Right this way [will says, they smile easily back on his face as he heads to where Michael's bunk was] this was your cabin for a bit by the way, before I took over. [He informs, giving Michael a little context for when he has to interact with his siblings]

[Michael tilted his head.] It was?

[He tried to imagine himself running the place,supposed made sense why this place felt so strongly familiar. He probably once knew the place inside out.]

Yep. My turn to be the boss of you now though [he says smugly, trying to frame it like that kn his mind as well as he reaches the bunk that once belonged to Michael, left unchanged the same way that Lee's was, gesturing to it]

Bet that's one plus of this huh? [He said playfully, before looking over at the bunk.]

[It felt familiar of course, just as strong as everything else. He walked over to it,examining it.]

And im absolutely going hold it over you forever [Will decides, grinning a little as he watches Michael's reaction. He doesnt need to look at the bunk. He knows what it looks like.]

[Michael laughed.] Wouldn't expect anything different really.

[Michael examined the bunk thoroughly,running at hand over the sheets. He seemed deep in thought.

After a bit and he moved almost by instinct and knelt down, pulling a photo from underneath the mattress. He frowned,staring at it.]

[Will blinks twice, almost disbelieving as he leans forward to look, very easily, over Michael's shoulder at the photo] no way thats been here this whole time [he says to himself in surprise, having spent enough time in Michael's bunk over the years both before and after he died to have though he knew the thing pretty well]

[Michael just hardly heard Will, his gaze to focused the on the picture in his hands.

It was of what looked to be younger Michael, maybe four years old, in what looked to be his mom's lap as she read to him from a book of poems based off the cover. He was looking up at his mom,reaching up at her,a smile on his face. Michael couldn't seem to be able to look away, staring at it dazily.]

[Will gets a smile on his face almost immediately. He hadnt seen that one before, though hed seen a couple photos of when he was younger most of those were taken after hed arrived at camp.] Your mom by the way [he says, eyes scanning over the different details] in case coming back from the dead shook your common sense

[Michael scoffed.] I got that. [He said curtly, his voice seemed shaky. He stared at the photo a little longer before wiping his eyes and putting it back under the mattress.]

[Will places a hand on his shoulder, warmth radiating out from his hand but he doesnt verbally call anything out] just making sure. Cant be too safe

[Michael relaxed for a moment at the warmth before sighing.] Yeah.

[He shook his head, pushing the heavy feeling in his heart away before getting up and sitting on the bunk. Looking over it carefully.]

Any memories coming up? [Will asks, trying not to sound too hopeful but some of it slips through as he lowers his hand, moving to sit next to Michael out of habit, kicking his flip flops onto the floor as he pulls he feet up to sit cross-legged]

[Michael looked over the bunk a bit more.]

A little, I think. Bits and pieces mostly. Hard to organize them.

[He turned to Will when he sat down, a slight smile twitched on the corner of his mouth. This all felt so normal.]

Really? [Will says, sitting up a little straighter, his smile turning much less weighted as he glances towards the bunk beneath his own] i know Archer keeps a photo book. Do you think that might help?

Maybe? [He shrugged.] Wouldn't hurt.

[Will nods, bouncing himself once for momentum before stepping off the bedn moving quickly towards Archer's bunk] say no more

Right. [Michael nodded, looking around the bunk as he waited. There were few other old photos pinned to the bottom of the bunk above Michael's, he looked at them dazily.]

[Will grabs the photo book from where he knows Archer keeps it, knowing she has some photos she collected from before she arrived at camp too. As he straightens he points to the bunk above hers] this one's mine by the way

[Michael looked over and nodded, he still seemed dazed. He felt like a bunch of memories were trying to push their way through but none of it was really clear. He wasn't sure how to feel about it. His head was pounding. He went to fiddling with his locket again.]

[Will pauses, his hands tightening on the photo book as he takes in Michael's expression. Maybe hes being selfish about this.] Hey how you feeling? You already came back from the dead today. We can rain check the photos if you want. Cant be easy seeing all you dont even know you lost. Might be better to do on a night's rest

[He tried to brush Will's worry off.] I'm fine, don't worry about me. [He did his best to push down the dizzy feeling and the pounding in his head.] I'll be fine.

[Will narrows his eyes] right... [he draws out skeptically, flicking his wrist to toss the photo album back on Archer's bed, absolutely not where Archer likes it to be and he knows that] well i wont be so lets not.

Alright [He rubbed his eyes before placing his head in his hand. Maybe it was for the best he didn't push it...] What now? [He mumbled. He sounded like he use to after overdoing himself in the infirmary.]

Now you sleep [will says, crossing his arms over his chest, realizing with a rising feeling of triumph that he actually has the authority to put his foot down on this now] youre already in the bunk anyway. Who knows maybe your life's come to you in a demigod fever dream

Great. [He groaned, rubbing his eyes.] I don't even know if I can sleep.

[More so he wasn't sure he wanted to. Despite his memories some part of him fear a "demigod fever dream." He wondered if he was quite familiar with them before all of this happened. Or if it was just a gut feeling.]

I can get you a little eye mask. [Will asks, sounding completely serious] some of us cant really sleep when its not dark but there are little things you can do [his arms lower, though still folded as he moves to stand closer to Michael's bunk, leaning on it casually]

You gotta specify "little"? [He snorted, shaking his head which was pretty bad idea given how he was feeling.] I...Fine. I'll try to sleep.

I meant insignificant; like its no trouble, but sure. If the pun is there, ill take it [he grins as Michael agrees, reaching down to pat his shoulder] thanks. I ain't gonna have you die on me again from something stupid like your brain exploding

I really shouldn't be given you more ammo, huh? [He chuckled. Though faltered for a moment at that last bit before forcing a grin again.]

Don't worry so much about that. Not going anywhere, you're stuck with me this time, field mouse.

[The nickname slipped from Michael so easily he hadn't even thought about where it came from nor noticed he said it to begin with. Was one he use to call Will all the time before, based off a joke he made when Will was little.]

[Will could feel his heart squeeze tight in his chest, an easily ignorable stinging felt faintly behind his eyes] absolutely not. Especially because the rest of our siblings will run with it.

[He doesnt address the next bit as he pushes himself off the post of the bed]

[Michael snorted,perching more on his bunk.]

You should try rest a little too. You been going all day I'm sure. And it's been lot at once. [Michael said, looking over at Will.]

[Will shakes his head] nah, I actually havent been doing that much Ive been out of camp. [Will explains, heading for the door now] at the least I have to go check in and make sure nothing bad happened while I was gone

"I think it has-" [they gently poke tiny Archer her hand open, and point at a scar on her palm, Archer herself holding an hand up to show the exact same one.] "some form of pocket sized universe where it's all the same, but small."

[Will's eyes widen frantically before seeing that mini archer is completely fine, pointedly ignoring what his brain just made him see as he looks away and says] well you dont have to be tiny to make that sound.

"... You're talking about me specifically or?" [the squeak she gets from mini Archer was a response, making her look down at it, then holding it out to mini Will.]
