So...I might have gotten a new truck at work. It might be a sexy Bud Light 10 Wheeler. And it might have the heavy duty lift gate I've been asking for since last summer. Truck is a 2010 International Durastar 4400SBA w/ Maxxforce 9 330HP engine - Allison 5 Speed Auto (still didn't get my 10 speed...)

I know what your all thinking "Hey! That's not the same Rifle you posted a picture of last week!? What happened to the full length AR?" Well its a long story. All you need to known is the old AR I bought is gone and this brand new Palmetto AR took its place and I didn't pay a cent for it. Picture was taken on top of Putney Mountain after a 3 mile hike up the local trails. Pack is 75lbs, plus the weight of my rifle and sidearm. It was a damn good hike!

Sometimes you find gems when you least expect it. While on my way to visit friends in Burlington the other day. I stopped off in Waterbury to visit Parros gun shop. I wasnt really looking for anything, but wound up finding something I've been looking for for a long time! I've been looking for an AR for years, but I don't exactly have $1,000 to $1,500 to spend. But as I browsed the very expensive wall of ARs, I found this old girl tucked in the corner. And when I saw the price of only $599.00...I couldn't say no.

Its an absolutely beautiful day on the Mountain today.  Granted I'm suppose to be on vacation today.  But it wasn't a bad day to be called in I suppose!  And listen to my babies turbo whistle!  She's all sorts of perky this morning!

Hey its been awhile since I've posted anything!  Have me yelling at another truck for being slow.

Myself and the two other PFD guys who climbed the 110 stories at the Manchester NH 9/11 memorial stair climb this year.  Once again it was a great event, and a very fitting tribute to the 343 firefighter who died that day.  For those of you who don't know, I'm the grumpy looking one on the left.

The guys with me were my buddies Matt (center) and George (right) This was mine and Matt's second year at the climb and George's first.  All three of us will be back next year. 

Also my new gear is very shiny...I mean god the NFPA wasn't messing around with the new standards! I like it though, its my second set of Globe Gxtreme gear. Globe knows how to make some gear!  And if you were curious, the helmet is a Phenix TL-2 .  Best helmet EVER.
