i finally gave in

and saw you

we met up

and it felt like I’d never left

your smile when you saw me

it felt surreal

the hug you gave me

felt like home

your room was the same

your routine was the same

you gave me kisses on my hand

just like toy used to

we layed down next to eachother

and expressed how we felt

how you missed me

and the feelings I made you feel

you kissed me

and it felt like reality hit me

I questioned if it was real

it was by how you smiled and held me tight

we both gave in to something we haven’t done

we smiled and held each other

then you begged me to stay

and asked me to promise to never not talk again

for that long

or when we would just look at each other and laugh
