life update (just word vomit honestly)

tw: ungodly mention of puking bcz of sickness. just paragraphs of nonsense. please read at ur own risk. it's not dangerous or anything, just really annoying to read through

life was boring, but hey i got sick so then it turned not as boring!

i woke up one random morning feeling so nauseous with my stomach twisting like crazy. no i didn't go drink the night before nor did i have any sex the past 3 months (i never will bcz i dont like the thought of doing it)

i was on my period so i assumed it was because of that (despite it never happening before) and thought if i ate some of those pills that helped w period pain it would go away. haha. it did not. i ended up in bed for half a day, tossing and turning and losing all appetite. i did get some rest because of course, if you're sick you should get some rest, right? wrong. i slept through breakfast and lunch...

by then i was panicking. my logical mind said i had to eat something or else i'll get gastritis or whatever it's called in the english language where ur stomach hurts bcz no food in stomach so stomach acid go crazy on ur stomach walls smth smth... i had these little chocolate cookies so i ate them. they barely filled my stomach and i didn't get to enjoy them since i had no appetite at all, but i was sloghtly relieved since i did est something and therefore should be ok right...? wrong...

anyway. called my mom, she told me to eat these medicines. i ate them. next thing i know i'm puking straight up water three times in a row. i felt like a water dragon except the water i spat was straight up sewer water with the brown color from those chocolate cookie things i ate. i felt slightly better, but then mom told me to go to an event. i did. ended up puking again before the event started. still puked brown water. the event involved eating. but i didnt eat. that marked the day i ate not a single meal — a terrible day and one i wish not to repeat.

the only good thing here was the extreme relief i felt after finally puking the first time. cuz oh my GOD bro i swear my own body was edging me making me so nauseous but not enough to force me to puke.

thank you for reading. don't get sick and don't eat chocolate cookie things when you know you're going to puke. eat/drink something pink! cooler puke color...

Possibly a controversial take but recently I've started disliking the term "girl's girl" and "pick me" quite a lot. It just seems to me like a different way of pitting women against each other, and again ties into lookism in a way that is just as unpleasantly hierarchical as whatever we had before that. YES, some women are desperate for male attention, and YES, they might hurt you by doing so, and it's OK to distance yourself from anyone who may cause you legitimate harm. But if you try to come to me gossiping about another girl, saying she's a "pick me", I'm going to assume you have no concept of redemption and cannot look in a mirror. You're as pick me as the next girl idc. It's just another reductive way for an influencer on Instagram feeding off your parasocial relationship to get easy clicks. Why are we so enraged by these people anyway. Aren't we already doing enough by going no- or low-contact. These are people we will meet every day why are we being so vitriolic instead of questioning the systems these people are trying to pander to lmao. I thought we hated the patriarchy, not... other women??

And all this happening on social media, arguably THE Pretty Girl Contest for the everyman who doesn't have access to stardom. In an industry where "call-outs" are popularised, and getting "cancelled" is a thing, where they are used as tools to weaponise against other influencers who are competing for the same space in the echo chamber. Like come ON the call is coming from inside the HOUSE.

There are women who feed off of male attention. These people are most likely taught that the only way to be secure, and have access to love and resources consistently, is to be dependent on a man. Usually, they have low senses of self-worth and identity as well, hence they try to latch onto someone they think can provide for them by altering their character to fit what they think men may like. MANY of these people might have been raised with sexism, abuse, misogyny or some kind of resource insecurity, like why are we beating down on them?? If your man is stupid enough to turn his head at any kind of female attention, it's also his fault??
