Unidentified Body Age: approx. 33 Death Date: 04.27.21
Just a week after police discovered Michelle Morales’ body, a second was located a mile away. The unidentified male was found completely mutilated with several missing limbs. It seems as if the killer has a new M.O. - cutting off fingers to make identification harder. Frightened citizens have already recognized the eerie similarities between the two murders, and those of ‘95, causing wide-spread panic within Harpswell.
Michelle Morales Age: 26 Death Date: 04.20.21
The townsfolk of Harpswell worked endlessly to put the horrors and pain of the ‘95 slayings behind them. There is now a sense of closeness amongst community members and pride that they have maintained an all time low crime rate for the last decade. However, this is all changing with the recent discovery of Michelle Morales’ corpse in an abandoned building. It was seemingly an isolated event until a second, unidentified body was found a week later. Their deaths have coincidentally taken place 26 years to the exact date of the first two victims in the original killings.
Leslie Hines Age: 38 Death Date: 08.24.95
The final victim, Leslie Hines, reportedly had close connections with many influential people in the community including the Chief of Police and the Mayor. Her body was discovered by officers during a welfare check. It was presumed that Hines attempted to escape her killer through a small dog door cutout in the garage when the garage door was lifted and crushed her neck before she was fully decapitated.
Mayor Wendell Graham Age: 45 Death Date: 07.02.95
After six murders, Mayor Wendell Graham kicked the investigation into high gear when he offered a $10,000 reward of his own money to anyone who called in a tip that led to an arrest. This was not received well by the killer who began making threats to the Mayor. The investigation continued and his body was found in his office by his secretary, though his fingertips were graciously wrapped and sent to his wife as a parting gift.
Diedra Rucker Age: 17 Death Date: 06.28.95
Police were notified of the double murder of Diedra Rucker and her boyfriend Cole Smith when Rucker’s parents arrived home to the gruesome scene. She suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest, neck, and stomach. Her body was then hung from a tree in the backyard.
Cole Smith Age: 18 Death Date: 06.28.95
Cole was an outcast, never truly accepted by his girlfriend Diedra’s parents. Still, when he received a frantic call from her one night, he immediately responded. Upon arrival at her house, he was bound, gagged, and tied to a chair before his throat was slashed open and he was left to bleed out.
Jamie Morton Age: 18 Death Date: 06.07.95
As rumors of a serial killer on the loose spread through the small town, Jamie Morton’s parents still encouraged her to attend weekly church services. Devoted to her family and her duties in the choir, the church would prove to be her final resting area when her lifeless body was found hanging in the bell tower.
Clyde Culhane Age: 17 Death Date: 05.22.95
A month passed with no leads and no more murders. The police hit a wall, searching for answers anywhere they could. Instead, they were met with further questions when seventeen year old Clyde Culhane, who reportedly had gone missing after a house party the night before, was found by two fishermen on the coast of Harpswell. It was later confirmed the stab wounds inflicted on Culhane’s body came from the same type of hunting knife used in the previous slayings.
Daniel Russo Age: 17 Death Date: 04.27.95
Daniel was last seen at school during a football game just one week after his girlfriend's disappearance. He was a bright young man with a promising future and had numerous universities offering him a full ride. It was his dream to leave Harpswell and make it big in the NFL. His body was uncovered by concerned teammates in the school auditorium after he stormed off the field, angry with one of the referee’s calls.
Hayley Prescott Age: 17 Death Date: 04.20.95
The first of many victims, Hayley disappeared while walking home from school alone. At the start of the investigation, police pointed the finger at her then boyfriend, Daniel Russo - until he was murdered a week later. Hayley’s body was located in the deep freeze of the town’s most frequented restaurant with multiple stab wounds to her head and chest.
