Thinking of making a twitterā¦wanna interact with the fandom more
Single moms Rhaenicent au where they move into a small apartment building with their children after messy/brutal divorceās and end up as neighbors. They married and became mothers extremely young so this is the first time theyāll be navigating life on their own.
If anyone has asked this, I'm so sorry but I'm too lazy to dig into your posts to find itš
Are Jace's feelings for Luke romantic? What exactly does he think of the old Lucerys and the reincarnated Luke?
No need to be sorry, I love answering questions so itās really no trouble.
Jaceās feelings for Luke have always been and will always be complicated, best way I can describe them is that all the love he holds for his younger brother goes beyond the barriers of labels. Luke wants plain friendship? Heās down. Luke wants a brother to be connected to at the hip? All the better. Needs a lover? Who could ever treat him the way he deserves better than Jace? Heās desperate to have him in any form no matter what that might look like so long as they remain close. The codependency is strong and a lot of that comes from trauma.
What exactly does he think of the old Lucerys and the reincarnated Luke?
Lucerys was Jaceās entire world and first true companion. If anything, Jaceās feelings for Lucerys were equivalent to how Dean felt towards Sam in āSupernaturalā Let him tell it the world might as well have revolved around his brother, and when he was no longer around all that mattered was getting payback. Jace was Lucerys keeper and was more than content being so.
Now, his feelings when it comes to Luke Rivers is a completely different story. Although he still feels like Lukeās sworn protector and a third parent of sortsā Jace canāt understand the person his sweet brother grew into. This cold, distant, and downright crude guy whoās unwelcoming to anyone but Alicent and Aemond (not true but thatās how heās digesting everything)
But, he also knows Luke can be kind if given the freedom to let his guard down. The way he opens up to children melts his heart even if thereās some undue jealousy. He sees Luke as someone whoās been alone for so long he canāt possibly understand what is and isnāt good for him. Assumes every wall Luke has built around himself solely exist to hurt them rather than protect what little is left of his heart because what could he possibly need protected from now that theyāre in his life?
Iād actually go out on a limb and say Jaceās mental health is almost as bad as Lukeās which if def saying something.
The prince sniffled, snot and tears and dripping spittle smearing sickeningly pale cheeks and a quivering chin snapping open and shut from belligerent cries. Unsightly he knows, certain his father would have scolded him if the man were in any condition to do so. Laying before him static as the dead in a pool of his own stale sweat; bruised face chillingly sunken and breaths shallow. Sight of ointment-stained bandages covering the gaping hole bashed into the back of his stitched together skull tearing its own wound into Valarr's heart. Not once had the young prince entertained absurd thoughts that his Lord father accepting Lord Ashfordās invitation to attend the tourney being held in his daughter's honor would end in ruin- much less bring about needless bloodshed. Apparently, he'd been foolish to cradle such naive hopes.
Looking back, they all had their own expectations of how that damned trial would end. And yet, not a soul foresaw a devastation to this magnitude.

Currently writing Lucemond cannibalism. Stay tuned for more.
Big things are happening (no pun intended)
Does anyone else always realize thereās like a million different errors in their writing right before posting? Now I have to waste another hundred hours editing.
Oh and now my summary suddenly sucks so time to re-work that too.

Do the people have an interest in Baelarr (i think thats what theyāre calling it?) I have a oneshot sitting in the chamber but Iām kinda on the fence about itā¦
I also have some unfinished Lyonel/Dunk stuff š (bottom dunk ofc)
Writing some drabbles and realized I have no idea how to give an animal a actual personalityā¦
Since weāve discussed this topic before I just wanna say that while I usually leave character interpretation up to you guys as readers unless asked, Iāve gotten a few comments here and there regarding whether or not Aemond taking his and Lukeās relationship to a physical level makes him just as bad as Owen, and tbf I think one question this begs is if one personās intention when acting on something matters more than the impact it might have on another.
Owen sees Luke as a tool to be used how he deems necessary; a toy. Not an actual person let alone someone deserving of basic human decency. We know by now Aemond is nothing like that and yet we canāt help but wonder if heās violating Lukeās autonomy considering the secrets heās keeping. Though weāre most definitely knees-deep in dub-con waters when it comes to lucemond itās mostly because the complicated nature of their shared past makes things tricky to navigate through a moral lens. At least thatās how I see things.
When we look back Jace is asking over and over again, āis this relationship even consensual considering everything Aemondās hiding?ā So at least someone acknowledgeās how damaging letting this happen may be. But no matter how much we agree with him Jace is still an outsider to Luke and Aemond relationship so heās never going to fully understand.
I think thats why I feel FMN Aemond will always have a special place in my heart. Heās grown as a person but in the end still makes decisions which put his morality up for question.
Overall I how you see this entire āis it or isnāt it?ā Situation dictates what a happy ending for Luke means.
Just found these pics of Al Pacino and theyāre literally Jacaerys ascending the iron throne core.
The only reason FMBH Aemond has more than two outfits is because Luke finances his entire lifestyle.
I have something controversial to say.
I donāt care about Roberts rebellion.
Do you think Luke would have gone on like Saera? I think that if he hadn't been reunited with his family and his memories had returned him to his 18 years, he would have chosen to go it alone. It might have been difficult for him, but I'm confident he would have managed to pull through, although I think he would have left Westeros. After all, it doesn't seem like a place where he could thrive, given the way society treats people not born into privilege.
Oh 100%, and itās the crappy cards heās been dealt in this life that center his decision in remaining alone.
Luke is someone whoās been kicked down, thrown from pillow to post-stamp experiencing the worst parts of humanity society has to offer. After everything heās managed to survive had the fight between him and Sidney never taken place; ergo he never meets Alicent and eventually moves on to somewhere like Lys, Luke wouldnāt think twice about staying as is even after recovering his memories. Depending on his quality of life Luke would do everything he could to shovel the memories back in since they serve no purpose.
Lucerys Velaryon just doesnāt exist anymore, point blank period. Luke actually considers him dead despite having his face and memories. Thereās too much trauma heās trying to heal from and twice as many physical reminders across his body to think about seeking out those from his past, let alone actually contacting them. Would it hurt? Absolutely, but heād push through it.
To make solidarity his choices, Westeros as a whole is much too judgmental as you mentioned. The culture, the peopleā¦its not great. It may be the 21st century, however the only things thatāve actually improved is modern medicine and clear laws. Otherwise misogyny still runs rampant, gay rights are highkey kinda flimsy, the justice system exists but is extremely corrupt, noble houses and the power they hold remains intact despite the government supposedly being more a republic, and bastard is still a social status that most look down on. Essos isnāt perfect, but itās free. Luke wouldnāt go back to Westeros if you paid him. He simply canāt deal with the headache.
On top of that he sees no purpose in looking for the others. Itās not like they can be this big happy family that happily pretends they never committed atrocities against each other, so whats the point?
Modern day Saera and Luke share so many parallels now that Iām thinking about it. I can actually see him fostering an older child or two (later on adopting) who he ends up telling the truth only for them to do some research, go contact Rhaenyra and be like āSoā¦youāre our grandma šā
