Hearing the whole “Americans didn’t beat the nazis” thing is so exhausting and counterproductive. Spoiler alert: America isn’t the only country affected by Trump, so this could apply to literally any allies in WW2 (which is more than you think, lots of countries fought alongside Britain and we’re eternally indebted to them). Also even if America failed to rid the world of Nazis in the past until like the last moment where they joined the allies, then surely now is simply an opportunity for them to do it earlier?

History is there to learn from, not to replicate in its entirety. Beat them back earlier this time, America. The rest of the world believes in you.

Mario Party 8 is objectively the best Mario Party game.

It has:

- Blooper as a playable character

- MC Ballyhoo

- Koopa’s Tycoon Town

Until another Mario party game has these three things, it will remain the best.

Calling all Brits on this hellsite.

We all saw Elon Musk do the nazi salute at the Trump inauguration. We know that he is influencing and fanning the flames of right wing political parties.

And that very well may include ours.

Because Elon Musk has pledged to donate $100 million to the Reform party. He has since mentioned that it might be hard to give such a large sum now.

But I don’t think we should take our chances. And I think we can agree that letting billionaires influence our countries politics is a terrible idea.

If you also agree here’s a link to a Parliament petition.

It calls for the government to remove loopholes that allow wealthy foreign individuals to make donations into UK political parties (e.g. by funnelling through UK registered companies).

As it is a parliament petition the government are required to debate it in parliament. But for that to happen it needs to reach 100,000 signatures.

I know it’s sort of a dead topic, but Pokémon Legends: Arceus is 100% a spinoff.

It is a part of the “Pokémon Legends” spinoff series along with the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Yes, it does connect to the mainline games. That makes it canon, not mainline. It doesn’t have the format of the mainline games. It has multiple mechanics that set it apart from the main series (agile/strong style, research rank, quest system, overworld catching, etc.), lacks abilities, had no held items, and was not a dual release like every other mainline game. Because of these mechanics, it plays less like a mainline title than other spinoffs like Pokémon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness. If those two are spinoffs, then so are the Legends games.

A similar case would be with the Persona series. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax which continues the story of Persona 3 and persona 4, but since it has different gameplay, it is a spinoff.
