when do you think Josh might revive his career? Other then FM Season 3 and the Long Home which has been in post production for years now he is literally doing nothing. I mean eventually he's going to run low on funds so he'll do those for the paycheck roles but I hope he gets his passion back. He's so talented and attractive (when he fixes himself up) and so many of his peers are going on doing great things and he hasn't done much of anything. I'm a fan and haven't posted him for like 5 months.

I honestly don’t know. Like you said–he’s got nothing on the docket, that we know of anyway, and he’s been vacationing so much lately, I’m not sure when he might have had time to do any work.

I was thinking the other day about how he said he was so “passionate” about directing, but he hasn’t even been pursuing that?

When Logan Lerman made his comeback recently, people went nuts. I can’t even begin to describe how frustrating it is for me because I know it would be the same for Josh. He’s got a lot of things holding him back though, which I think is the root of the problem.

This is all adorable, but scroll to 4:24 and behold the passion with which this young boy talks about his dreams coming true. Especially around the 5 minute mark, where he talks about building up a resumé. 

That young boy must be in there somewhere, life can’t go that wrong all of a sudden. That young boy couldn’t possibly know what life was going to throw his way, but I’m sure that young boy had another vision of how it would pan out, comparing to how it did.

Very insightful, again showing how Jennifer is nowhere near a feminist, as she so badly wants to paint herself as. She’s only pushing the mysoginistic narrative of women only being attractive when they’re shallow, not themselves and submissive to men. I think we are finally over her fake act and moving towards a world where women are valued as their own person, in every facet of it. And yes, also Jennifer, when maturing, definitely has a place in that. 

I am a very big fan of the evolution where the cool girl, quote “... largely depart from her traditionally passive and submissive roots.”

Some foreign press has picked up on Josh's stalled career and disheveled appearance, it translated as "metamorphosis" but like not in a good way. Which leads me to ask, do you think this is going to end up in more main stream publications? More widespread commentary that Josh has failed to capitalize on his former fame and now just drifts along the bottom of the celebrity pond?

I did see those and I was bothered by them. One even said he looked “neglected”.

My worry is if he isn’t in a great mental headspace, that stuff ending up on bigger gossip sites could do more damage.

I’m glad you’re not only talking about the damage this could do to his career, but to him personally. It’s in moments like this that I realize press doesn’t care about the fact that they’re writing about a human being. He’s clearly not in a good place and I understand that his career may be the last of his worries at this point. Having that spread out is certainly not going to help him. 

But whatever juicy gossip people can spread is publicity, and publicity is money. But this goes at the cost of someone’s well being. And that makes me sad, it’s disgusting. 

I hope he can figure out a way to get out of this and be himself again. Not just for his career, that will be a by - product of his healing, but for himself. I don’t think he can do that alone, that’s okay, a lot of people would need help. My worry is that no one around him seems to care about him in that way.

I kinda have to agree with this. I am very glad to see him getting out and supporting a great cause first and foremost, along with being seen with some bigger actors. There are some pics that are better than others from this event, but looking at him next to Rob and Armie, he still looks unkempt to me. 😕

I think there are way more deep rooted problems at the core of this. His appearance is how it manifests, how we notice it, because it’s the only way we could notice. I’m really worried about him.
