Howdy, it's nice to meet you! I'm Unreal-Animatronics, but you can call me Uni (pronounced "yoo-nee"). I've been a fan of Freddy's since I was a kid, and my love for the franchise has only grown as I've gotten older and learned more about it's history and development. This blog exists to catalogue and share my knowledge of the franchise and experiences as an amateur collector and archivist.
If you have any questions regarding Freddy's history, my knowledge or opinion of any particular animatronic or other aspects of the franchise, or need help identifying an animatronic (based on description or artistic depiction, no photos please), then you're highly encouraged to send me an ask about it!
A small content warning: while I do my best to steer clear of the "true crime" corners of the Freddy's fanbase, it's inevitable that while talking about the history of this franchise the many controversies and incidents will occasionally come up. If you wish to avoid posts discussing it, filter out the tag "#Afton Incidents"
↓Potential questions↓
"what is/are your [pronouns/gender/other labels]?"
i value my privacy, and don't particularly want to risk FazEnt. knocking on my door if I'm so unlucky as to attract their attention, so I choose to reveal as little of my identity as possible, including my gender identity and related aspects. you can refer to me with whatever pronouns and terms you like, though if you feel so inclined as to use an honorific then I do prefer "Mr." (I won't be offended by other honorifics though, its mostly an aesthetic preference)
"why don't you post photos of the animatronics you discuss?"
As you may have guessed from the above point, Fazbear Entertainment doesn't take kindly to amateur archivists "slandering" their brand by discussing and preserving it's messy history, no matter how good your intentions are. you'll generally be fine so long as you stay under their radar though, and a very fast way to end up *on* their radar is by posting photographic evidence of any discontinued, dangerous, modified, or otherwise not Fazbear-sanctioned Freddy's animatronics. Many an archival project and private collection has been felled by the FazEnt legal team's cruel blade. I may have an overabundance of caution, but at least for now I intend to limit any pictures on this blog to artistic recreations only.
"which/how many animatronics are in your collection?"
As of now I only have one animatronic in my possession-- I'm mostly a memorabilia collector, and getting my hands on a whole animatronic was an unexpected surprise, albeit quite a welcome one! I'm still in the process of identifying it, as it isn't in great condition, but I intend to dedicate a whole post to it once I have more information!
"Who's your favorite Freddy's character?"
Spring Bonnie! Unfortunately his connection to some of the... Especially unsavory aspects of the franchise's past make information and memorabilia related to him especially hard to find. But I don't mind, it makes for a fun challenge I think!

[OOC info]
[Hey there! Im @unpaid-inchworm, aka Rex, and this is my fnaf gimmick/roleplay sideblog! This idea was inspired by a lot of things, but some standout examples are @/realpokemon, @/helloscully, and notrealname's fnaf guide videos. I can't and won't promise that this blog will be canon complaint, partially because the fnaf canon/timeline is effectively a collective hallucination at this point and partially because I'm just not worried about it. This goes double for timeline stuff like what year things happened im gonna pull dates out of my ass like 90% of the time. This isn't a lore resource or an ARG or anything this is just for fun. Thanks for checking out the blog, if you have any OOC questions please direct them to my main!
As tempted as I am to claim that I love all my children (merch) equally, I'm afraid I do have favorites! I think out of my collection my favorite would have to be the the cardboard standee of Chica I got at an auction house a few years back! From what I can tell it's from the late 80s or early 90s, possibly being promotional material for the 1993 reopening of Freddy Fazbear's. Its definitely one of the rarer items in my collection, im quite proud of it!
as for things I don't have in my collection (yet!), I'd love to get my hands on a real vintage plush toy from the 80s or 90s, or even an animation cell from Fredbear and Friends!
